The water does not get hot, it only gets lukewarm. They have dirty pipes so the water comes out brown and the is only fixed after you tell them. Would not give a partial refund for cold water- just some cheap people making a living.

Inexpensive place to stay
My husband and I went on an overnight getsway to Oakhurst. We absolutely love this cute little town. Unfortunely our stay here was a little disappointing. The Service here is great but the room and ammenitues left a little to be desired.

I heard a constant thumping noise ALL throughout the night. Worst sleep ever. Front desk claimed to know nothing about the noise. However, I mentioned it to a friend who stayed there previously, and she said that she had the same exact experience with the same noise.

I don’t know why the hotel is rated so low. This is a budget 4 or strong 3 star hotel. Yosemite is very remote so you are right in the smack of town. It’s not fancy hut safe for an outside hotel.

I work in the park, honestly never thought of staying here. It was very quiet could not really hear the road unless it was a semi. Try to get top floor the only noise i could hear was the people walking around in the room above me on and off . Other than that i will happily stay here again!

The overall property is good and clean. The couple running it were very nice and accommodating. The bed was a bit hard for my comfort. The breakfast was OK, but not great. Do not expect a hot breakfast. There were bagels and bread with a toaster, apples, a cooler with various items like peanut butter, yoghurt, etc. Coffee was good, juices were orangeade and something else similar - not real juice.

Disappointed in the late fee
We were disappointed that we were charged a late fee of $25 for checking in after 11pm. I asked for this to be waived and was told that it was listed on their website. After reviewing the website, I located in fine print that it says a late fee "may be charged". The room was fine - nothing fancy. The bed was very firm. I liked the shower pressure - it was a nice mist! The breakfast consisted of fruit, bagels, and pb&j. We were happy to make a sandwich for our hike so this was a nice perk. But don't expect eggs or bacon - it's just basic bread and fruit. I would not choose to stay here again.

On the way to Yosemite
Check in at appropriate time and out room was ready. The rooms were super clean. The next morning breakfast was ready and offered a variety of choices. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel.
