Great little placePosted Nov 17, 2014
Great little place. Cleanliness was exceptional. Very private. A lot of charm. Off the beaten track in a lovely way. Innkeeper was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming again.

Private, quiet, great staff. Well equipped. Rural.Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Outstanding staff. Very well equipped for housekeeping (restaurant fatigue had set in so happy to eat home cooking). Very clean, and well maintained.
Cons: You should realize that the drive to the park >1 hour. But this is true for all accommodations around Oakhurst. Much better value.
Location: Drive >1hour on very twisty roads. But a great deal to do in Yosemite. Great destination.
Stayed 3 nites while visiting Yosemite. Excellent facilities with full housekeeping (plus breakfast food supplied). Private, rural, quiet, clean, very well equipped. Remarkable staff who went the extra mile for us on a couple of issues. Excellent. The only thing to realize is that this is a rural setting, and it is more than an hour to drive to main destinations in the park. As long as okay with the drive, then this is so much better than a regular hotel room.

Unexpectedly wonderfulPosted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: see above all was a "5"
We booked very last minute and were delighted with our experience. We were close to the park, wonderful little cottage with everything we needed..cozy and warm.. the innkeepers couldn't have been friendlier or more engaging. We give the experience a 5 across the board and we are picky travelers!

Lovely loft cabin in the grounds of the Homestead.Posted Oct 3, 2014
Accommodation is spacious and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Complimentary international calls to landlines was a nice touch. Friendly and helpful staff.

Last minute tripPosted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: We really enjoyed staying in a private cottage.
Cons: Curtains over the bedroom & bathroom windows would have been nice. The blinds worked fine, but the window sills were shallow so only partial cover.
Location: We chose Homestead Cottages because it was near the South Entrance to Yosemite. There are also a number of restaurants in nearby Oakhurst.
My family and I took a last minute trip up to the Yosemite area. We stayed at Homestead Cottages for the first time, and would stay there again. The groundskeeper was super friendly and helpful. Our cottage was quaint and cozy. Out drive to Yosemite was easy. All in all we had a lovely trip, and the Homestead Cottages helped a great deal.

awesome!Posted Sep 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
What a great place, although we only stayed for one night. We were looking for a place "off the beaten path" and were very pleased with the peace and tranquility surrounding this location. The cottages are just lovely and wonderfully comfortable as well as super clean. Although we could not use our cell phones they have a phone available at the front office if needed. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff as well. We hope to come back some time in the future!

Great place to stayPosted Sep 11, 2014
Far from yosemite valley (about 1.5 hr drive) but besides that everything was great! We were provided with orange juice, water and muffins (and some other things). Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Great LocationPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our cabin was well appointed and had every thing we needed. The breakfast basket every morning was most welcome. The location is great and Yosemite was just a 1/2 hour drive away with the Sugar Pine Train to visit on the way. We had a great 3 days and will recommend to all our friends.
