Wonderful scenic rural setting near YosemitePosted Mar 19, 2015
Location: Near splendid Yosemite national park and Sierra state forest, with world class hiking, giant Sequoias, and amazing scenery.
Our cabin was superbly appointed, artistic, comfortable and clean. The setting is lovely, in hilly ranch country--very tranquil, in nature. The hosts looked after every need, showing gracious and generous hospitality and providing helpful suggestions for hiking and restaurants in the area.

Wonderful!Posted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Close to town. Room was very specious. Loved the kitchen, very practical
Cons: Breakfast options, although it's easy to just buy your own and cook it yourself.
Location: Very easy to get to Yosemite from there, and it's a very beautiful drive
Beautiful place, we loved everything about it. Very comfortable! Perfect for a romantic getaway

Country comfort with a touch of class throughout.Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: The hospitality of Cindy and Larry; the spacious floor plans; delicious homemade breakfasts; luxurious linens, towels and robes; the quiet setting.
Cons: As close to utmost as I could have ordered.
Location: Oakhurst with its markets, stores, movie theatre, and services is only 10 minutes away.
Cindy and Larry have built a luxury getaway experience in the oaks. To think they constructed each cabin with their own hands is amazing. Comforts abound with soaps, robes, fireplace, music, fabrics, decor and a yummy fresh breakfast each morning. A friendly woodpecker knocking on the tall oak outside our door reminded us that country living in the hands and hearts of amazing inn keepers is a lost art in the USA...but found again here at Homestead Cottages.

Sweet ExperiencePosted Jan 2, 2015
Cons: wifi could be better but it's working fine !
We spent three days two nights in Homestead Cottages, and it has exceeded our expectations. Clean and neat rooms (two bathrooms), nice fireplace, free wifi (a little bit slow but it's ok), free breakfast (cereal, muffins, milk, orange juice). Only five minute drive to Oakhurst where you can get groceries and fast food; One and a half hour drive to Yosemite Visitor Center in Yosemite Valley through Route 41. The owners of the place are very friendly and kind people. Strongly suggest this sweet place for your staying and your adventure to Yosemite. :)

Nice stay near YosemitePosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: The owners of the place are very friendly people, sociable and helpful. The loft we stayed in was nice and cozy. The cottages are great too.
Cons: The breakfast could have more choices, like bread, bagels or scones, rather than just muffins.
Location: Yosemite is the main attraction, of course. It's about an hour from Yosemite Valley. Very nice to just drive around the Park.
This is a very nice B&B near the South Gate of Yosemite National Park. It's close to Oakhurst which is a small town with all the restaurants and shops. The Homestead is a great place to stay with a lot of privacy. It is rustic and serene. The owners are very nice people, very hospitable and helpful. We had a great time, just resting and enjoying the surrounding. Even though it's mid-December and it rained one out of the three days we stayed there, it's a lovely and beautiful place to relax.

Looking forward to a returnPosted Dec 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a last minute trip for an anniversary celebration. We would absolutely book this again, and I've already referred friends and family. Larry and Cindy have the perfect setup, and were very accommodating. We stayed in the Stargazing Loft, which was very spacious. The room was clean and comfortable. There were suitable dining options just a short drive down the highway, and the 30 minute drive to Yosemite was gorgeous.

This is such a great place to stay! They make the beds, tidy up, and even wash the dishes! The room is spacious yet still cozy and has heat/air so it's very comfortable. They have everything you could need, will be back 100%
