A nice getaway motelPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Very Very Quite, well off the beaten track. Situated in woodland
Cons: Outside light was very bright and could not be switched off. Curtain over door was white and quite thin so could not block out the light.
Location: Local villages
A nice getaway motel, comes with own BBQ. Distance to Yosemite greater than first thought.

quiet and relaxingPosted Jul 18, 2015
The staff was responsive. The location was relaxing in the woods. The pool/spa were beautiful and lightly used. We cooked on the grill outside our cabin and also enjoyed some local dining. Will go back again.

Knock Knock...is anyone there?Posted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels
The setting is gorgeous. The cabins are well-appointed. What we missed was any staff! There was no one at the office when we got there. There was no one at the office when we went out the next morning or came back the next afternoon. There was no one when we checked out on Sunday. Never saw a bill. We did see a guy running around about 10 pm, but couldn't find anyone to tell us what happened to the ice machine - it was supposed to be by the clubhouse, but we never found it. I'd definitely go back, it's lovely...but you should have someone around 24/7 JUST IN CASE.

Charming Off Beaten Path Get-a-wayPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels
My wife, son and I loved this place. We visited in October and were please with our cabin which was cozy, neat and clean. This was not the Ritz but my son loved the bunk bed. We were amazed at the water feature (aka pool) area with two story club house, complete with pool table, ping pong table and card playing area. The "Rock" in town had good food, large portions and the price was very reasonable, even with several draft beers and desert. We hope to visit again with family or friends in the summer time to enjoy the pool and the grill at the cabin.

Hidden hideaway in the woods.Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: So different than other places we've stayed.
Cons: Just hard to find because it is hidden in the woods. It would be nice if they had a continental breakfast since it's a bit of a drive into town.
Location: Nice area. Quiet. Lots of hiking to be done. Nice pool area. Free parking and internet.
Found the place on Expedia. Way off the beaten path. Cute place. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Nice easy going atmospherePosted Sep 4, 2014
Very cool. Cottages a bit small but pool area better than photos can express. I loved it here and will be back next year.
