Lodge fairly close to Yosemite.

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Good location and reasonable breakfast
AC and refrigerator took a while to get cold. No towels left on the second day of our stay. Bathroom floor and shower area not very clean. Only one employee at front desk. Good location and reasonable breakfast though.

Very nice hotel, convenient location

Posted Aug 1, 2015
We stayed at the Oakhurst Lodge for one night on our way to Yosemite, but if I had it to do over I would have stayed there for the entire trip. It was an easy drive into the park, and the town of Oakhurst has all the necessary amenities. The lodge must have been recently renovated because the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was so nice and helpful, they gave us great tips about what to do in Yosemite and provided updates for us about recent road closures. The breakfast in the morning was good and they gave us snacks for our hike. There was also a very friendly cat that the hotel seems to have adopted which provided much entertainment for the kids. Overall, we loved it and would definitely go back.

no towels, always have to request it.

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: maybe that the continental breakfast is included.
Cons: make sure there are towels in the room. air conditioning does not circulate well because of the drapes. drapes needs to be adjusted.
Location: location is good, close to Yosemite.
When we got there, the check in was smooth and quick. However when we got into the room, we found out that there were no towels so we requested them and they brought them in. We thought we should rest for a while after a long drive from LA before we go up to Yosemite, so we decided to watch tv but it was difficult to turn on or operate and there was no instruction whatsoever, after a while we were able to figure out how it works. The following day when we return from Yosemite, the room was cleaned but again there were no towels and we have to request them again. The bed was OK but the room was so small.

Charming

I was a bit worried when we pulled up as it was small but this was my favorite stop in our trip to Yosemite. The beds were super comfy and the staff warm and helpful.

The rooms were clean and smelled ok. The breakfast was ok. They served rolls muffins, could make our own waffles. The pool was unuseable. We were told the pump was broken. A bit high on the price for what they offered. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable, clean and friendly

Oakhurst lodge has just about 20 rooms. The employees were very friendly and the room that I used was clean, so comfortable. Moreover, there are a lot of good places to eat near the lodge. It took about one hour or so to Yosemite national park. It was not too far.

Pros: Clean beds and floor. Coffee maker in the room. Flat screen TV with movies. Conveniently located.
There was standing water in the shower. The wall mounted soap dispensers did not function. It was too noisy outside of the room, even with ear plugs in.

Pros: The staff was awesome and very helpful. We had a problem with the AC unit and Natasha was great about helping us out.
Overall a nice place at a decent price. We spent most of our time at the park so we didn't spend too much time at the hotel other than to sleep

The hotel was clean and room was big enough. Receptionist was very helpful and positive. We had a good stay with our two kids.
