“Tenaya in Yosemite”
My husband I love this hotel. The room is clean & spacious, the indoor pool area is roomy & relaxing in the hot tub. Only the problem is the location. We were back & force between the hotel & park (Glacier Point) approx 30 miles each way. BreakFast buffet was wonderful.
“Absolutely loved this place for our family”
We booked this hotel without ever knowing a whole lot about this lodge except what we read on Expedia. This lodge surpassed our expectations and we can't wait to go back. There are so many activities to do around the lodge and within the lodge. The Concierge was awesome and extremely helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable otherwise the trip was perfect.
“Nice Escape”
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and had a great time. The spa was great and the Embers Restaurant was excellent. The room was very comfortable, quiet, and charming. We will go back.
“Cottage in the Forest”
We booked a cottage room which was located on the hotel property but across the highway. The cottage itself was clean, bathroom ammenities were great, soft cotton robes, gas fireplace, nicely decorated, comfortable fluffy beds with down comforter. The room itself was basically just that 2 queen beds with a small table and 2 chairs. Tv,microwave, fridge and average coffeemaker in the room. The only complaint I have is the cottage was attached to 2 or 3 other "cottage rooms" so its not really a private cottage , there are common walls. The doors to the cottage are made of metal and slam loudly when closed. There was a private pool and jacuzzi just for the cottages but it was a walk with a path in the forest so we didn't go as it was too cold to walk to and from. The breakfast buffet in the Sierra room was very good. Eggs, breakfast burritos, fresh fruits, cheeses, breakfast meats, and a great variety of dried fruits, nuts and average breakfast breads and pastries. We also had dinner in the Sierra Restaurant food was good but pretty pricey dinners starting at 25.00 and up. Waitstaff was mediocore not overly friendly or concerned with the customer. Hotel staff and valet were exceptional. Took a peek at the ice skating rink, it looked like fun and there's horse drawn sleigh rides and a sledding hill in the winter. They do a great job of decorating for Christmas. Its about 1 hour from Yosemite valley. I would definitely go back again.
“Pippo”

“great hotel for yosemite”
Lovely setting close to Yosemite-efficient and friendly staff. would go back
“Great accomodation”
Overall very nice stay, this is the second time my wife and I are staying there. Very pleased with the overall experience.
“things are OK, but the service needs some improvements.”
This was our first time there. We had the cottage room which was nicely located outside of the park. The room was what we expected. However I guess because I forgot to tip the room service, there was a very strange long distance call made from our room which put a $8 charge on the bill. I was surprised. Anyway, the front desk had it waved after I talked to them. The front desk was somewhat not very welcoming while we were checking in but still did whatever they were trained to do. A little bit more greeting would be nice since that was our first time. Again, I guess since their business isn't that bad compare to the rest of the country, thus no need to keep on improving the services. We don't think we would go back there.
“"Water Conservation"”
They had a ton of signs around to conserve water, but the water after running for about 15 minutes was never hot in the shower. The food was delicious.
“Really nice place with great staff”
While I wouldn't recommend this resort for a kids stay due to it's lack of kid activities, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink and fireplaces. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the spa was top notch. I used the workout facilities and got a 90-minute massage... Good equipment and quality therapists.
