“OK if you have no where else to stay.”

The room we had was OK, but small. It had recently had a new air conditioner installed (was dated), so that was good. But there were some things that were not very well done. The small frige was placed on a luggage holder (?), and moved around. The micorwave was on the bathroom counter; therefore, less usable space. Had to ask for TP, as there was only a 1/4 remaining on the roll in the bathroom (no spare provided). The hotel advertised pool and spa. When we arrived, there was a sign on the gate to the pool area "temporarily closed". It was really obvious that it had been closed for a "long time" to the point that they should not be advertising that they have a pool/spa. We were not told when we checked in that it was closed, and there was a big sign advertising the pool/spa when we checked in. They had in room coffee, but no creamer. There was acontinental breakfast which was fine. They had good coffee, ceral, fruit, juice and sweet rolls/snails.

“Worked for us...”

I stayed here while travelling with a colleague to Yosemite National Park. The drive to Yosemite is about 1 hr and 45 min. Exactly what they said it would be. It's a long winding drive. The hotel was clean but the a/c unit was very, very loud and the mattresses too soft. The bathroom was recently renovated and clean. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open as advertised as it was in the low 100's for our stay! Overall, fine room for the price. Good bargain!

Traveler's tip
Ask at the desk for restaurant suggestions. They had coupons for a number of places we tried.

“bearable”

After reading the reviews I was expecting much worse. It is a bit far from Yosemite (almost 2 hours drive) but the room was clean and big, had a regular bathroom and the TV had a huge variety of stations if someone is into that. The breakfast is a joke, basically some donuts and coffee but they call it a continental breakfast. Funny, that I read the review about some drunks making lots of noise during the night and I actually had the same experience on my first night. So, don't expect the high society as your neighbors.

“Great staff, but motel is dismal and tired”

Staff was very nice but it didn't make up for the fact that the 1960's furniture was scratched and wobbly, that the mattresses were so old and lumpy. The place is falling apart. I think it's too far gone for a renovation, it should just be torn down.

“OK for short stay”

A good one for your bucks, particularly if your target is yosemite, and you don't want to pay for exorbitant prices near the park. Takes about 1.5-2 hours to reach park entrace, tho.

“Uncomfortable stay”

We stayed here for a night and it was not very comfortable for us though. The AC and heater kept us at bay on how to maintain a moderate temperature. If you set up heater, it will heat like anything as high as 100, on AC it will be get as cool as 60. Could take a good sleep. We were expecting a good rest for the price we paid. Moreover it is very far (2 hrs) from Yosemite park and out in the planes. Not good at all if you want to enjoy near Yosemite.

Traveler's tip
Tip: There are usually motels available for better rates than internet. Better to go there as nomad and look for stay.
