Good enough to stay in the area. However food choice is very limited inside and around the hotel.

Pros: Location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff
Mammoth Lakes is a great alternative place to stay to Yosemite Valley although it is a 2 hour drive. The Westin has a very relaxed atmosphere and is in a great location.

Pros: The more than courteus staff.
Cons: Can't imagine.
Location: Convenient to shops, restaurants and FREE town shuttle service besides the hotel shuttle service.
We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed bus service to Yosemite and touring the local area. Everyone was so helpful, no matter where we went.

Top hotel

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Het hotel zelf en het zwembad
Cons: De bedden mogen harder.
Location: Er wordt ontzettend veel gefietst. Een aanrader is om fietsen te huren en van de bergen af te dalen.
Echt een geweldig hotel. Schoon. Ligging prettig. Alleen mogen de bedden iets harder zijn.

Home away from home

Pros: Room, well equiped kitchen, the pool area and the beautiful frames photos in the entire hotel!
Great hotel. Staf is very helpfull and friendly. Giving you all the information you need about the area, hiking trails, other things to do etc. The room has a well equiped kitchen with a fridge and freezer. The room itself is very spacious and has a good bed. I has a homely feeling. I really enjoyed the pool with its two hottubs. The pool is about 25m long, so good for doing laps. The best hotel to stay when in Mammoth!!!

Very nice, close to the village and gondola

Posted Jul 19, 2015
It was wonderful from the beginning. We were greeted with a glass of champagne. Check in was simple and efficient. The staff was courteous and very accommodating . We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and the great location. The only downside would be for anyone who has knee problems... There are about 50 steps down to the village that you must take. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Staff, pool deck
An oasis in the middle of Eastern Sierra heaven. We stayed just one night, but the staff and facilities were fabulous. Our kids and dog loved it!

Eigentlich alles gut

Posted Jul 11, 2015

great place to stay for mountain biking or skiing

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: friendly staff, nice, clean rooms, valet parking, unless you like to traverse underground mazes, good food in the restaurant
Cons: I do not understand the concept of resort fee. This looks to me like 25 bucks check-in baggage fee on 2 thousand dollars ticket. a scam.
Location: mountain biking, skiing, ski lifts, village with several restaurants, not best food there thou. better walk down past the village.
Sparkling wine at the reception desk for check-in is a nice start. the hotel is located right in the village, you walk down the stairs, cross the street and you are right there. If you have a stroller, forget about the stairs, you will have to walk around or carry the stroller. there are mountain bike rental shops and in winter (I assume) ski rentals. the gondola will take you up the mountains from here. All 5 minutes away from the hotel. I stayed in Studio, View, its got nice little kitchen , queen size bed, a fireplace and color TV with HD channels, all of them crystal clear. It is a small thing, but not often seen. Kitchen was fully equipped with cooking pots , pans, plates and utensils. the fridge comes with ice maker, which is nice except it gets pretty loud at night. good luck trying to figure out how to turn it off. Bathroom; not too big, no shower stall, only bathtub. I'm not big fan. nevertheless sparkling clean. Pool; heated , decent size for a hotel, clean. Two hot tubs , also clean. these are outdoor facilities, so expect a leaf or two or an insect. Restaurant; way better than food in the village and not much more expensive, highly recommended. I stayed there as a base to go for day trips to otherwise fully booked Yosemite Park. While goole will tell you it is only 40 minutes from the hotel, this is a distance to the park gate. From there you have additional 2-3 hours to get anywhere interesting in the park. not best choice for me. Otherwise it is a great hotel.
