Good hotel minutes from Yosemite National Park.Posted Jan 20, 2015
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A fridge, cooker top and a microwave make staying within a budget very easy. The furniture and cabinets are a little old but it really doesn't matter. The staff are helpful and friendly. Both the restaurant and pizza parlor serve good food. I would definitely return.

Great location, right outside the park (less than 20 minutes driving). Has two outdoor pools (did not use) and one indoor pool. Clean rooms, decent staff.

Pros: •Fireplace - great view of the beautiful Merced River •Kitchenette - wish we would have brought some groceries •Microwave -
Location: Yosemite Natl Park is just 20 minutes east

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Prima liggingPosted Jan 13, 2015
Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en een prima ligging op ongeveer 30 minuten vanaf Yosemite Village. In tegenstelling tot onze verwachting bleken ze 100 plus kamers te hebben, maar dat is uiteraard geen probleem. Nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel.

Hotel Close to YosemitePosted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Pretty much quiet-best part being so close to Yosemite.
Cons: Management should have customer feedback sheets in the rooms. There were none and they did not ask how our stay was or if there were any problems.
Location: Yosemite is roughly 5 miles away from this hotel. There is an on-site restaurant that serves dinner and then a place next to it that serves breakfast.
There were a couple of disappointing things about the hotel (trouble shutting the door-had to slam it to close it; the light between the 2 beds (the knob to turn light/lights on/off seemed to not work well) but overall we were thrilled that we were so close to Yosemite. The off season price was a little more than I originally wanted to pay but since we were so close to Yosemite I didn't mind the price too much.

Hotel is in need of some upgrades.Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: It's a great location, and a nice short walk down to the banks of the Merced River.
Cons: there is a lot of deferred maintenance that needs to be done, and act like a quality hotel even if it's off-peak season.
Location: The Merced River, and proximity to Yosemite.
Winter is definitely not their prime concern. The general store in the lodge had run completely out of toiletries. The gap in the front door was so wide we could hear traffic all night like the door was open. The ac/heater did not function properly, as well as the blinds. (couldn't open them b/c the track was all jacked up). The service at the restaurant was pathetic, but in defense of the staff, they just didn't have enough people working. At least the staff was nice enough to comp me a couple bandaids since the shelves were completely out o stock of just about everything. And the lighting they use there makes it impossible to enjoy a starry sky at night. The parking lot lighting shines light sideways as much as it does downward, so you have these super bright light shining right in you face, and I was on the second level. they should be shorter, or at least direct more of the light down, and not sideways.

Perfectly reasonable and close to YosemitePosted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: We liked the proximity to the park of Yosemite.
Cons: The tv could be upgraded.
Location: We hiked to all the falls in the park. Loved every minute!
We rented two rooms for our family. It was perfectly reasonable and comfortable. The room is very large. WE enjoyed the fireplace and balcony. The kitchenette was functional. We ate breakfast in the room, packed a lunch for Yosemite, and ate dinner out. It was financially reasonable as well. It was less than 2 miles to the gate of Yosemite and located right on the Merced river. Although it wasn't fancy we would definitely go back again.

Sheets and towelsPosted Jan 7, 2015
For a remote site, is good but leaves much to be desired when the towels and sheets are brought by an external in the backseat of a car and load embraced without envelopes were aseptically without whatsoever.

Close to park entrancePosted Jan 5, 2015
Ok, very close to park entrance! Clean and friendly, but very dated, needs new beds/mattresses. Pizza place good, other restaurant- not so much.
