“Best Options for Georgia Mountains”
We go to Brasstown resort every year and more than once per year when we can. We absolutely love it. The drive from Atlanta is beautiful through the wine country and with creeks along the way add to the beauty of it all. Brasstown is stunning. The pool has salt water. They have every activity you can think of. The food is absolutely amazing and the golf course is probably one of the most beautiful ones in the US.
“Loved it!”
This was such a beautiful hotel, inside and out. My only complaint was its out in the middle of nowhere!
“Country Get Away”
With the exception of the issue of checking in, having paid for my room in advance and still have the full stay put on hold on my check card and that not being disclosed to me, the hotel was beautiful.
“A Mixed Bag”
Everything was very nice except the food service. The hotel is somewhat remote so as a guest, you want to rely upon the restaurant in the hotel but...Sunday night - closed, Monday night - closed, Tuesday night, we are finally going to be able to eat there and ....it's a buffet! We could not believe it. For a resort as nice as this, the restaurant needs to be better. We ended up eating breakfast at a local restaurant two mornings because the hotel food service was unimpressive and overpriced. My husband went down for a cup of coffee one morning and was charged nearly $4.00. It's too bad, really, because otherwise it's a really nice resort.
“Would go back in a heartbeat”
Terrific Staff are excellent, very quick to respond to requests and terrific attitudes. Would go ack there again, perhaps in the fall. The food was teriffic, everything beautifully cooked, not over or under. Best Salmon meal I have had in a long time. Everyone is prompt and anxiuos to make your stay the beat that they can.
“Nice Getaway”
Beautiful location, perfect for hiking, spa treatment, relaxing on deck... I'm not a golfer but course looked nice. Horse back riding...full service bar and restaurant
“Needs Major Renovation”
The bathroom was not clean. The hotel needs to be majorly renovated. It would have been fine if it was a low budget hotel.
“Paper Thin Walls”
We were looking forward to a quite mountain overnight stay. This is one of the more expensive hotels in this area, so the expectations were high. The service was great, from the valet, to check-in, dinner and music in the lobby. Where things that didn't go well, were when we retreated to our room for a good night's sleep. We had a couple that had a major fight next door that went on for 2-3 hours. Of course this is not something that was the hotel's fault. They did respond, allbeit slowly. Where I was disaapointed was how we could so clearly hear noise either in the hall or in the room next door. For an expensive hotel, this was definitely unexpected. We didn't get much sleep, so the hotel comped our breakfast. Great location, great hotel, great scenery but way too noisey. Hard for me to decide on a recommendation, but maybe this was a one time situation.
“recent stay”
it appeared you will get better service if you are staying for a conference
“Will go again”
This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean and the grounds were gorgeous. We were dissapointed in the fishing pond but the stables were wonderful. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. We will go again.
