not a typical holiday inn.

extremelt outdated everything. Thermostat was broken the entire stay. I told the front desk and they never fixed it. I won't ever be staying here again and I travel - a lot.

Girls weekend!

Pros: Over all very nice place to stay
Cons: Add free breakfast
Location: Close to Christmas in the woods and not to far from Grove City Outlets.
Haven't stayed in a hotel without free breakfast in forever! We had joined rooms which were nice, but one of the rooms was handicapped accessible. The shower was a little strange since we weren't expecting it. It wasn't a problem but would have been better had they told us before we got to the room. Very clean and everyone was friendly! Lots of close by places to eat.

Great hotel for wedding guests

We stayed here as a guest for a wedding in Youngstown. The hotel staff were great and the room was very clean.

Nice Surprise!

When booking travel, I haven't considered Holiday Inn an option in over 10 years. Location & availability motivated me to try this Holiday Inn...I was pleasantly surprised! I will consider Holliday Inn moving forward!

One night stay

The hotel is very old and had a face lift which makes it look newer outside. But inside is pretty bad. I had to run dirty water for few minutes before cleaner water came out in the bath tub. will not recommend to anyone

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. The Holiday Inn Boardman is known to be a very clean hotel and is typically scored very high in the chain on cleanliness. In addition our Executive Houskeeper has been with the hotel for over 25 years and is has been recoginized in the chain as "Housekeeper of the year". Recently we did have to address an issue with our water tank and in doing so the water was shut off to repair this problem. This did cause the water to discolor for a few minutes when turning the water back on. I believe this is problably the logical explination for your expierence. Again I thank you for your comments and hope that you will try us again while staying in the area.

Better Hotels in the area

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Carpets cleaned or replaced do not put people in rooms that need cleaning.
I recently spent 3 weekends in Boardman. Each weekend a different hotel due to availability. This was at the bottom of the list. I had 2 rooms for 7 people. The bathroom area and sink area are too small for anyone to get ready. The carpet in one room was so disgustingly filthy the room shouldn't have been available. This was also the most expensive of the three and the other two offered breakfast so you even save money there instead of ordering room service.

We are very sorry that your stay was not a good one. Our hotel is well thought off as having a very good reputation. It is up to us to deliver great service in every stay and I apologize that we did not do so in your case. Our hotel is a full service hotel, so that is why we do not have the complimentary breakfast. Limited service hotels are great hotels and typically offer free breakfast. Full service hotels, are great also, and offer full service restaurants, lounges, room service and meeting/banquet rooms. We are proud of our hotel now and will be even better in the future. We are planning an outdoor patio area to our restaurant and a two million dollar renovation to our rooms.

Nice Hotel

Everything was great. The room was very clean, restaurant was nice and have good prices and pool waa great.
