No surprises here.

You DO get what you pay for. I sought a cheap room and I got one. The motel is old and a little decrepit, but it's been maintained well and everything works. Even the 50s-vintage electric coil wall heater worked, though it required two hours to raise the room temp from 50 (upon arrival) to something near 70. The bathroom remained icy cold, since its only source heat was a three-bulb ceiling heat lamp, which had only one regular (not infrared) bulb in place. But the toilet flushed vigorously and there was plenty of hot water. And the bed's mattress was surprisingly soft and comfortable. The wifi (not a secure network) worked okay, but was very slow.

Great price for outdated motel

Hotel is old but great price and clean. Live entertainment across the street made it hard to sleep.

Very unhappy with the stay. We booked thru expedia.com, My mother in law booked the reservation so My daughter and I would have a play to sleep. Checking in I was told we needed a deposit, all I had was $20.00. No way to do a credit card over the phone. It was miserable and cold and I had to leave my puppy in the car, because I had no money for a deposit. I left at 4 in the morning because people in the next room were so loud and noisy. I complained and then left. I will never stay at Econo again.

old and dirty

Posted Oct 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
The rooms were old and dirty. My sheets and pillow cases smelled like they hadn't been washed. The front desk clerk was rude and insulting and held a $25 charge when he claimed it was going to be a$20 charge. I suggest some maintenance and new carpet. I will not be staying there ever again

Booked this hotel online & then over phone for 3 people, one night. Upon arrival manager said he only showed 2 people so chgd us additional $10 plus tax. I showed him my booking receipt that showed my name / 2 guests but he wouldnt budge. First room was broken TV. Second room coffeemaker had old grounds in it & dried coffee in bottom of pot. Never been cleaned in some time. Awful place.

Great deal

Posted Sep 14, 2012
Pros: Air conditioner, microwave, and the fridge
Cons: Bathroom toilet made noise for a while after flushing so I kept the bathroom door closed
Location: Small town, friendly and helpful locals
Great room for the price. Nice front office staff. Overall a great deal!
