“Good, basic accomodation”

First impression in the hallway was a faint smell of old tobacco smoke, so I was a little concerned, but the room was clean and had no odor. The bed was comfortable, though we thought the pillows were too thin. The room had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast had the usual assortment of staples and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Good choice for a thrifty traveler.

“One of the better hotels in Yreka”

I was given a handicap access room so I had to bend down for the towel bars, etc. That's my only negative concern.

“Comfort for a Small Town”

We had the Two Double Beds room and the room was very roomy and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and service was good. The free continental breakfast is pretty standard (toast, small muffins, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, apples, oranges, coffee, tea, milk, juice, hard boiled egg) and they also offer fresh baked cookies at night. One downside about this inn is that it does not have an elevator.

“Good Overall”

Only downsides - towels from previous guest were still hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there were a couple of pieces of dog food on the carpet. Pool area was clean, as was the breakfast room. People working there were exceptionally nice...we would stay there again.

“Staff was helpful,and it was a good location”

The hotel location was good and it was adjacent to a Black Bear Diner. Hotel staff was helpful as well.

“Would utilize it again”

Very satisfied with this Motel. Cleanliness, Service, Quiet. Attractive decorations. Only two issues. (1) WOuld have preferred a larger counter top in "Bathroom" sink area. (2) An awning or small roof over rear entrance. This would help when it is raining and one is fumbling with luggage and "key".

“I wish all hotels were like this one!”

This place was affordable, convenient, and one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a long time. Can't wait to have an excuse to go back!

“ok for a place to stop on the interstate”

Beds aren't very comfortable. Otherwise, pretty decent for your typical need to stop on the interstate.

“Not Recommended”

This was not our first stay at this hotel, but it will be our last unless they fix things up. There were several light fixtures that did not work. Part of the reason is that two of the electircal outlets were not working. For the burned out bulb I did obtain a replacement from the lobby. When we tried to use the coffeemaker to make some coffee, it spilled hot water all over the dresser (and did not produce the coffee). The bedside lights both had faulty switches (sometimes they were half on and half off). Wireless internet worked for awhile right after we checked in, but later was so very slow that it was unusable. When we checked out I asked if they had comment cards, but they didn't (maybe they don't want feedback). I did fill out some comments on a blank sheet of paper. If they don't get back to me assurring me that they have fixed things up, we will not stay here anymore.
