"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh breads and meats and cheese. Excellent coffee. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. "

Clean, efficient, minimalist

"This approaches a contactless, minimalist hotel. Check-in is through an ATM-like computer interface. I had my reservation details, emails, and codes and checked in quickly and without incident. However, two other parties were left outside for 15+ minutes, calling on multiple cell phones, yelling in German. The room was clean and efficient, but had minimal comfort items. Breakfast had a modest selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, sliced meat, and bread. Parking appeared to be limited to on-street in front of the hotel. Hotel is out of town at least 1.5km on a quiet rural lane. Do not rely on public transit to this location."

Old winegrower's house in the Wachau with pool & sauna, directly on the Danube

Stunning home, beautiful location

"House is absolute lovely, even better than the pictures. The hosts were so thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the trip. The house is very generously stocked with essentials and grocery items, it really does feel a home from home. The view from the garden and sauna is wonderful - we went in the sauna almost every day, it was so peaceful! And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoors and local wine - beautiful area, perfect for cycles, hikes and visiting wineries and castles. Great holiday."
