Pros: Location, pleasant staff
Cons: Furnishings in the bedroom could be better
Location: Central location in the town close to restaurants etc. An attractive town but apart from the Wallender connection there is not a lot to see and do.
Good location and public areas have an elegance that makes you feel you have stepped back in time but our room was rather basic and dated. It overlooked the road and train station and was very noisy. It was hot in the room but it was far too noisy to have the windows open. The beds were comfy but the wardrobe door was very tacky with a sliding door which did not shut properly.. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was ok. I feel the hotel was overpriced for the standard of room that we had compared to other hotels we visited during our trip to Skane.

Pros: See the above comments
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great fun to explore the locations relating to the Wallender novels. Ystaad is very compact and easy to stroll around
We had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel Continental which has been nicely refurbished. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast in magnificent dining room. Good room. Central location for exploring Ystaad.
