“Older, OK, middle of the road stay.”

There are no frills, the condition is older but clean. Staff was friendly but not real organized. There were no instructions for the dvd player or room safe. A little road noise, but we wanted a kitchenette, which was functional - but again not new or we supplied.

There is a nice little family owned restaurant just down the street, Jack and Ruby's. It was quite the find!

“Good for one night”

I chose this hotel due to its downtown location and reviews. The staff is vers friendly, the hotel would definetely need touch ups.my hotel room was v clean and nicely decorated. Since I needed wifi acces my room was not within reach. So I had to go to the lobby and check mails etc there. The biggest con for me was that the downtown location also meant that major construction trcuks were passing right passed the hotel which was quite annoying. So a quite minute at the pool was not possible. It is good for transit But would not stay for more than one night. Said before the staff however was very helpful.

“Just a couple simple things to fix”

We were happy with the hotel except for 2 things. The shower head was horrible to have any pressure at all it was either extremely hot or extremely cold, and they really need to vacum. I found dried up food along the edge of the bed (floor) a few cob webs and dust. They need to get the information correct on the Landing the hours posted on both the business and and the information in the room state the wrong hours.

“Clean and Confortable”

I will be using this motel every time I go to Yuma. I use to use Motel 6 or Travelodge, but for the little extra money, they have free wireless internet, flat screen tv, a dvd player, dvd's to watch for free, and free breakfast at the Yuma Landing Grill. The only issue is they are on a main street so a lot of street traffic if you are right on or close to the street.

Area recommendations

Go for the dental work at Algondones. You see license plates in the parking lot all the way from New Jersey, Canada. It was amazing to see all the different states in the parking lot.

“Older facility, but well maintained”

The front desk clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He was very congenial and helped us with everything we needed to know.

Area recommendations

Old Town. I enjoyed going through the Antique Shops. We enjoyed Luke's Casino for lunch. The movie theater was showing up to date films and they had Senior Citizen rates.

Getting around

We were very close to Algondes Mexico, where we were going to have dental work done.

“Classic comfort, thin walls.”

This is an old motor hotel with lots of charm. The bed was really comfortble. wired wiFi was fast and reliable. room was oversized. The restaurant next door serves the limited but excellent breakfast. The only problem was the lack of privacy -- I could hear conversations in the next unit.

Spa does not heat or massage properly. Free breakfast at adjoining restaurant was OK, but they don't allow you to take it out. Pay $20 more to stay at a nicer place.

The desk help found our information quickly. The registration was quick and with courtesy. They provided all the information we needed to find our room. The breakfast was excellent. The location is close to any major streets and highways.
