“The Worst Ever... don't do it.”
We were booked for 7 nights but left after the first night. The room was very dirty, pubes and tub rings in the bathroom. The room was in terrible disrepair, bad patches on the walls and I wasn't comfortable walking on the carpet in bare feet. The bed was from the 50s, it was so thin and hard sleep was difficult never mind the state of the pillows and blankets. There was zero soundproofing, toilet flushing was very noticable and when another guest was having a shower it sounded like a jet was getting ready for take-off, we actually had to close the bathroom door and turn the volume of the TV up to drown the sound out. When other guests arrived at their rooms later we could hear muffled conversation. The next morning I approached Nadine, the front desk manager and told her that the room was not up to par and we had found other accomadations, could we please check out? She was very rude and told me I would have to call Expedia myself to try and make those arrangements. Expedia spoke to Nadine and made the arrangements for us to check out and and have the money refunded. When Nadine got off the phone I thanked her and told her it wasn't personal we just didn't like the room. She was extremly rude to me and told me to leave. She was the least proffesional hotel staff I have ever delt with. She took our disatisfaction personally. I would not only never reccomend this hotel. We switched to the Best Western Coronada and had a wonderful stay.
