Cannot fault it!

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Tea & coffee making facilities, free toiletries, no charge for in room safes, fridge in all rooms. Lovely pool, sauna and spa. Very comfortable beds.
Cons: Hard to think of anything
Location: Hotel just steps from the train station, shops, cafes and very good restuarants. Bar owners/waiters, etc, very friendly, very helpful, lovely people
Brilliantly quirky hotel, individually designed rooms and staff we couldn't fault. Zaandam just two stops from Schiphol airport and central Amsterdam. Staff could not do enough for us. When we arrived beds had been made up as doubles (we had booked 3 twin rooms) and presumed they would just remake them as twins. However they upgraded us all to bigger, better rooms instead. No extra charge to use the pool or spa facilities which were excellent. Lots of fluffly towels and robes also provided. Really cannot fault the facilities, the location, the price or the staff. Would recommend this to anyone.

Perfect Location

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Smooth out the walls, they're very abrasive. Both me and my travel partner ended up with scraps from the walls.
Location: Plenty of shopping and restaurants near by. Train is right next to the hotel which makes traveling to other locations a breeze!
Beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable and perfectly located. The staff is friendly and versatile in languages.

Modernes Hotel etwas außerhalb und doch zentral. Sehr gute Anbindung an Stadtzentrum und Flughafen. Einige Retaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: The quirkiness from the outside and the spaciousness of the inside will certainly not disappoint you.
Cons: The only thing that was lacking was instant coffee and milk in the rooms. Everything else was perfect.
Arrived at hotel at around 8.30 am and even though paperwork had said check in was from 2pm we were able to check in on arrival. We were on the 12th floor and the room certainly didn't disappoint. The bathroom was complete with sauna and rain shower and jacuzzi bath. The bedroom was very spacious and dressing gown and slippers were a nice touch. There was even a coffee machine although not liking espresso coffee this wasn't used. Only criticism was maybe instant coffee and milk could be provided. The buffet breakfast, whilst expensive, certainly wont disappoint. It caters for everyone and is certainly plentiful. The outside of the hotel is fascinating. Totally unique and so full of character. The short train ride to Amsterdam was cheap and easy and the 1 hour canal boat ride is well worth the money. I would also really recommend spending 40 Euros on the countryside tour. It lasts for 5 and 1/2 hours and you visit a windmill farm, a cheese factory then take a boat ride to the idyllic village of Market to watch a demonstration of clogs being made.

Hat alles was man braucht.

Die duschen sollte dringen neu abgedichtet werden da man jedes Mal das Bad unterwasser gesetzt hat. Sonst einfaches Zimmer hat alles was man braucht kann man weiter empfehlen.

Close. Convenient, and Very COOL

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Cool look, location, price
Cons: No, they did Great job...
Location: Twelve minutes from Amsterdam. Supermarket, clothing, coffee house, all adjacent to hotel
We loved this hotel. It is located within five minutes walking of the train station and only twelve minutes outside of Amsterdam. We were close to Amsterdam without the City hotel prices...The hotel looks brand new. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the best food value of each day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Besides being close to the train, the hotel is adjacent to shopping and additional food options. This hotel was FUN...
