The national capital Prague is situated 110 miles (177 kilometers) west of Zabreh.
Traveling through this popular part of the country should be an adventure, so why not rent a vehicle and uncover some of the other interesting cities, towns and villages dotted around Zabreh. Ceska Trebova and Stare Mesto are two other places worth visiting while you're in the Czech Republic.
Approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southeast of Zabreh is Olomouc, a regional center where you'll find Holy Trinity Column, St. Michael's Church and St. Wenceslas Cathedral. Astronomical Clock, Hradisko Monastery and St. Moritz Church are good places to visit.
Go to the Czech Republic's history museums, art galleries and theaters. These are excellent spots to hang out, especially on overcast or inclement days. If you have great weather, head outdoors and discover the Czech Republic's gardens and open-air exhibits.
Get outdoors and get active in the Zabreh area. Try your hand at horse riding or give bungee jumping a spin. There are times when the best way to get a feel for a place is by tapping into the expertise of locals. This region offers some very informative cycling tours, winery tours and city walking tours.
As you finish your stay, pack up your gear and wish the Czech Republic a fond Ahoj (farewell).
