Open air restaurant over looking the AdriaticPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: On the sea front, bus stop outside going direct to town
Rooms were dated with furniture from taken straight from Fawlty Towers however, it was in good enough condition and gave the room a cosy, homely feel. Restaurant was open air with views of the sea and as the area was was in a quiet part of town, it was a beautiful setting for dining. Food was 3/5 with a varied selection bound to keep most people happy. Breakfast was typical sub standard B&B but for the price, its not of much concern.

Disappointed HoneymoonersPosted Aug 27, 2012
*Driving distance to old town was 10 mins. If you stay here we would recommend you have a car like we did, however, "free" parking is very limited out the front. They have a private car park however it is 200m up a hill behind the hotel *Rooms were too small for comfort and very outdated. We were constantly tripping over ourselves. *Nothing in the mini bar so forget a late night drink or even a bottle of water *View however was AMAZING. walked out the front door and onto the beach. *Free breakfast was a disappointment. Not much of a selection, especially for vegetarains. *WiFi wouldnt work in our room as we were on the top floor. We had to sit in reception area in order to use our laptop. *Staff were lovely and very helpful, but facilities were poor. *Area was very quiet by day and night Overall, we wouldnt recommend this as a "honeymoon hotel" (we were on our honeymoon), but if all you are looking for is a simple quiet place to sleep and to hit the beach all day then this is for you :)

great locationPosted Aug 23, 2012
Great location on the water, room was large and clean. Close to bus stop as it was a bit out of the center of town. Would definitely go back!

Friendly but needs to be cleaned betterPosted Aug 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
The is hotel had a general feeling of being not too clean. The bathroom could have used a wipe down, the wall below the AC unit was broken, the carpet had stains, the furniture was patched, and the pillows were lumpy and looked very old (the bedding was all clean, though). Certainly not the worst place we've stayed by not one we'll return to. Villa Nico is about 5 km from the historic centre of Zadar (worth visiting). The coast around the hotel is not particularly interesting or tempting for swimming.
Nice and out of the wayPosted Jun 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Nico was very talkative and gave us lots of history of the area. Good choice.
