“Best room in many years”

I do not cater to the Ritz and five star hotels while traveling; I prefer the local gasthaus, villa or bed and breakfast - not because they are far less expensive, but because of the people that I have met and the friendships that I have made traveling this way. At the Villa Triana, named after owner Triana, the dual balconies both had views of the Adriatic. Our third floor room was just 50 meters from the ocean. Triana recommended hotels and sights to see that were all great fun and good value. We will return to this villa in the future.

“Great location, lovely staff”

The sea is literally at the bottom of the garden/patio area. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Room comes with use of a small kitchen/ diner area, shared with one other room, though we had breakfast sitting by the pool, looking over the sea. Lovely, even in late October.
