“Best room in many years”

I do not cater to the Ritz and five star hotels while traveling; I prefer the local gasthaus, villa or bed and breakfast - not because they are far less expensive, but because of the people that I have met and the friendships that I have made traveling this way. At the Villa Triana, named after owner Triana, the dual balconies both had views of the Adriatic. Our third floor room was just 50 meters from the ocean. Triana recommended hotels and sights to see that were all great fun and good value. We will return to this villa in the future.

Area recommendations
The Villa Triana is in a neighborhood just a ten minute drive north of the old town city of Zadar, Croatia. For us it was perfect. The neighborhood was clean and quiet, several restaurants were close by, a market was 100 meters awaysand there was a walking path directly behind our villa that ran several km in both directions. Perfect.
