good hotelPosted Jun 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The breakfast buffet was very tasty, the hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. The staff spoke English very well and were helpful and nice. The downsides was that it's not easy to find via public transport, a taxi is easier. Once you know your way using public transport it's fine but it's very confusing the first day. It's near a grocery store and some places to eat. The downside is that anyone talking in the hall sounds quite loud in your room. Someone else mentioned how the shades don't keep the light out in the morning. I had thought they were being picky but it's true, it woke me up. Overall I was very happy and would go back again.

Lovely suite, very spacious, Fantastic service !!!Posted May 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were impressed with the service, especially we had an issue with our GPS and the lady went out of the way to help us - much appreciated.

Good hotel in Zagreb but outside the city centerPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Really comfortable hotel and good service at an acceptable quality/price ratio. The breakfast is not exceptional but the variety is good enough. The city center is around 5-6 kilometres away but it is very easy to reach it by tram. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Nice hotel - Relaxed LocationPosted Dec 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel. Great condition and clean. The only downside is that parking is not onsite, which complicates check in and you must factor 5 to 10 minutes to access your car during the stay. I would stay at the hotel again and would not let the parking detract from rebooking.

Hotel Rebro is next to/within a large hospital complex immediately outside the city center. It is possible to take the tram to the city center and other destinations, but cabs were an easier option. The hotel itself is modern, clean, well maintained and overall very pleasant. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful (coffee was so-so) and one morning the entire Eindhoven soccer team was in the breakfast room! (2nd soccer team encounter for us - two years ago we shared a hotel with Real Madrid in Malaga!). The only con is the proximity of the hospital, it was less than ideal to have to dodge patients, doctors and nurses to access the lobby, the view of the hospital from our room was also a little unsavory. Although there was free wifi in our room, it required constant logging in, which was very aggravating.
Cheap hotel for an expensive pricePosted Oct 26, 2013
Blinds did not cover windows sufficient to keep light out of the room. The heating for the entire building was turned on, even though it was very warm outside. We had to open the window which let in the light, cigarrette smoke and noise from the street. Two twin beds set next to each other, I could not even sleep next to my wife :-). Shower in the bathroom gets water everywhere. But they had good tv channels :-). Overal I would have paid EUR 35, not EUR 83 for this room. Staff was very nice and appologized for everything but could not offer any solutions.

modern hotel but far from city centerPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: affordable room rates, spacious room, housekeeping did a great job, if you have health issues then this is a good hotel - hospital is directly across
Cons: add more hot items to the breakfast buffet or at least change variety of some each day
Location: walking or jogging in the park, visit the zoo, outdoor cafes
hotel rebro is a modern business hotel but the location is not ideal if you intend to spend more time exploring the sights in zagreb city center. although you can take the tram to and from the hotel to the city center, you have to walk quiet a distance from the hotel to the tram station as the bus comes by the hotel in not so frequent intervals (so this will be a problem if you plan to return very late at night to the hotel). if you have a car, the parking garage is at a different location but is of walking distance from the hotel. we also found it strange that the hotel is located right across the main hospital of zagreb and so you would see visitors and staff of the hospital in the cafes, bakery, grocery shop in the hotel vicinity as well as in the neighboring restaurants. the room was very spacious, with 2 double beds, more than adequate cabinet space, a big desk/table, flat screen tv, the bathroom was big with toilet separate from the shower (stand-up shower). the room was always cleaned very well ( housekeeping staff did a great job). the breakfast buffet was adequate, nothing special. reception staff were generally helpful. although the room rates are reasonable, we would prefer to stay in or near the city center next time we visit zagreb.

Far from centerPosted Sep 22, 2013
It was a good stay but I found it was further from the center than the description led on. Nice hotel though and decent location.
