“wonderful quality/price”

It was a nice hotel, affordable prices and kind staff, easy transportation using tram number 13 was a big plus for me. It would definetly be my favorite hotel because of the quality/price rate is at least doubles five star hotels.

“A 4-star hotel with 5-star qualities”

I was very impressed with the layout, cleanliness and the comfort of my (Superior) room and the private bathroom at the International Hotel in Zagreb. I felt I was staying at a five star hotel. The service was friendly and very good. Free breakfast buffet, free in-room high speed Internet both; with cable and wireless - excellent value. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

“Functional and very well run”

The Hotel International in Zagreb is not a pretty building - plate glass and concrete. But it is very functional and an excellent place to stay whilst doing business. The rooms are large and comfortable; everything works; there is free internet access; and the restaurant is pleasant, serves good food and is reasonably priced. The only real downside is that the bar is constantly full of smoke - no smoking has not yet reached Croatia! A minor grumble is that the pillows are rather squishy too. But these are minor complaints about what is a very functional and efficient hotel. It is also very easy to get into the centre - a number 13 tram from outside the door direct to the main square - and it is on the right side of town for the airport.

“Permanent customer”

Hotel is located in a nice, modern area of the city, only a few tram stops from the center square, or about 20 minutes walking distance. Hotel is very modern; it offers a free wireless internet in the rooms. The staff is fairly hospitable. I plan on using this hotel for my future stays in Zagreb.

“Would definitely stay there again”

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path for tourists, as it is not located within easy walking distance of the main city square. However, there is a tram stop on the corner, so it is quite easy to get anywhere in town. The hotel is modern and clean, with European-style rooms that are very nice and new. I would recommend the deluxe rooms if your budget can stand it. They're larger and have better beds and a better bathroom. The restaurant is acceptable, probably not one that you'll go to if you're not staying at the hotel, but good enough for a meal or two if you don't feel like going out. The included breakfast was one of the better ones I have seen, with a wide variety of foods, from breads and croissants to hot meats and eggs. I would definitely stay here again if I should return to Zagreb.

“Good for a spring break”

The hotel was clean, the breakfast good, and my room was comfortable and quiet. Meals in the hotel restaurant were good (I had a bad back for some of the time and could not get into town). When I wanted to rent a bike the two guys at hotel reception were extremely helpful, ringing up the rental shop for details, and showing me where to park it in the hotel garage. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the old town, but just by the tram routes and with good access to the south (and the riverside path). With a car it would probably be a good choice. With a bike it gave plenty of variety for rides.
