“Quality Hotel less than 1 km from the old town”

I stayed at a King Executive Room for two night. The size of the room was nice, the bed was very comfortable. Even though some of the furniture may be scratched here and there, its quality gives you a feeling of a well established place. The room was equipped with both wired and wireless internet. The breakfast was tasty, clean and fresh with good selection of breads, cheeses, omelet station (highly recommended), pastry and fruits . Fruit juices were sort of watered down. Coffee was fresh and strong. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Beautiful hotel, but location was OK”

We stayed at Zagreb Sheraton Hotel July 4 - July 6 2008. It's one of the nicest and fanciest hotels in town. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Class A hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities with a large pool and hot tubs. However, I found it to be very expensive. We never ate at the restaurant, always went to Ban Jelacic square for lunch/dinner. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the center of town and 5 minutes trolley ride. I would recommend this hotel however I would not stay there next time since it is too expensive and there are other hotels that are more reasonably priced and closer to the center of town.

“Excellent”

I stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. This hotel looks magnificent - the lobby, the hallways, the room, everything. The room was very comfortable - nice bed, blackout curtains, and quiet A/C. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient - my room was kept in immaculate condition, room service brought me a tasty burger, and the front desk called in a taxi at 5am for my return to the airport. The location is good - there's a Chinese restaurant across the street, and bakeries and grocery stores and more restaurants within a couple minutes' walk, while the livelier areas of the city are about a 15-minute walk. Everything was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Zagreb, Croatia is an excellent Vacation Destination”

I was very impressed with the quality of the Sheraton Hotel. The staff was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. The choices were many, and the quality was always top-shelf. Exceptional location, right on a busy square, with tram/bus service at your door. Very clean, safe, service-oriented, and I would stay there at every opportunity. Youy can't go wrong here.

“Sheraton Zagreb”

We stayed at this hotel two nights when we first arrived in Croatia. We got a very good price for this hotel on expedia. The best two points about this hotel is its location. It is close enough to everything but far enough away to not be crowded and noisy but certainly within walking distance to all the major attractions. The second point about this hotel was that the front desk people spoke excellent english and helped us with a zillion questions we had about how to get to places, to eating etc etc.... with all honest answers and not just recommending their hotel! The staff were great! The swimming pool was being serviced when we were there which was too bad because we would have really enjoyed it after long hot days touring around. The meal at the restaurant were very expensive and we didn't sample any of them for that reason. There is no wireless in the rooms but wireless was offered in the lobby area. There was internet in the rooms, just not wireless.

The Sheraton Zagreb has international standards that make you feel at home. Centrally placed to the main attractions in the capital with extremely friendly staff. You won't regret your stay in this hotel. And it was a treat to have American movies and sitcoms in English showing on the room TV for free. A definite 'YES' for a return.

Hotel was in excellent condition. Underground parking was affordable. The room was a little on the small side, but in great condition. Service was great, with excellent breakfast buffet (though expensive). Within walking distance to downtown. The room was expensive, and I wouldn't have chosen it had I been paying. Still had an excellent stay!
