These people are consPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pulled up to the hotel and it wasnt anything like the pictures. This was definitely a slum hotel. When I check in I asked the lady how long the spa tub was open. Come to find out they didnt have one as they stated in their description. Frusterated I went to my check in my room. Very dated and smelled like moldy smoke. Nothing like the pictures of the hotel rooms. I was very tired so I decided id just try to tough it out. Went to get my bags out of my truck and there was a man picking thru the small bushes mumbling to himself. Obviously high on drugs! This was the final straw. I went and checked out and told the women they were falsely displaying their hotel online as a luxerious place and it was a dump and I wanted a refund. Of course she refused. I called expedia immediately and told them of the problem. They tried contacting the hotel, which refused to talk with the expedia rep and hung up on them repediately. Expedia now frusterated with the hotel helped me get in a hotel down the road. This was a nightmare!! Thanks Expedia!!

nasty all aroundPosted Sep 27, 2013
Do not pay to stay at this place! You will regret it. We had to come totown for a funeral and so we booked this place because it was a decent price and we had short notice and most other hotels in area were booked already. When we pulled up I couldnt believe how beat down the building looked. the concrete was broken everywhere, paint multicolors and chipped. when we walked up the stairs they were dirty and and not well lit. when we got to the room, we opened the door and were overwhelmed by the smell of a strong odor trying to covor up a stinky smell. the beds were nasty and uncomfortable, i then checked the sheets and saw blood stained on them and the comforter if you want to call it that had stains of some sort on them as well. all the appliances are old and outdated. everything and i mean everything needed fixed or updated. that was it, we left and had never been to such a nasty place. they gave us a hard time at first about checking out and refund, but expedia got it straightened out. we had less than an hr at that point to find another hotel and get ready for calling hrs! horrible experience

beware of the room you getPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
the first room they put us in was just horrible. The floor were sticky and turned your feet black. There were no garbage bags in the cans, and the remote was broken. the second room was nice it was everything we expected.

Very OKPosted Jul 25, 2013
You pretty much get what you pay for. The staff was nice. Our room smelled a little weird, but I think it was coming from the adjoining room. The pool seemed nice enough, and the AC worked, which I thought was the most important thing.

The place is a dumpPosted Jun 16, 2013
Pros: The location suited my need.
Cons: Other than the price, most everthing needs improvement.
Location: Lots of shopping and food options available, Moundbuilders State Park is close by.
Dogs barking, drunks arguing, wondered if my truck would be safe in the parking lot. Sidewalks and stairways were crumbling (maybe unsafe), pool was unfilled and in disrepair, the room smelled old and moldy. Other than this, the price was right @ $48 per night.

HorriblePosted May 29, 2013
Location: Not bad
This was the nastiest hotel I've ever seen!!! I was suppose to stay 2 nights and I would sleep in my car before I'd stay there one more night!!! If I didn't absolutely have to shower I wouldn't have. I was traveling by myself and I felt to uncomfortable there, it was just awful!!!!
