“room for improvement”
Restaurant closed for season, pool closed for maintenance, and breakfast poor. Halls were cold. On the plus side room was clean.

Nice hotel. Liked the indoor pool and hot tub. Didn't have much of a breakfast.
“unexpected delight”
We have stayed in the Zanesville area multiple times but never at this hotel. The other hotels in the area could not fill our reservation requirments-Ramada got us accomadations immediately. The indoor pool and activities for the kids was a very welcome surprise. Will definetly be staying here from now on.

This motel was located in a very remote setting without internal dining. The room was comfortable and clean, so for the price it worked out well. The recreation atrium could have been very nice...however it lacked maintenance. The underwater light came loose from its fixture and was hanging down in the water; the spa was only 3/4 filled; a large window to a room was broke with glass everywhere that was roped off with plastic caution tape; no pingpong balls were available and front desk clerk indicated that they did not have access to them. On Sunday morning, we went down for the 'breakfast', everything had been put away and we only had access to warm coffee, they still had 15 minutes before it was to be over. Outside of a diner and fast food restaurants in the immediate area, you must drive 5 miles to obtain a descent meal.
“Motel Convenient to Zanesville”
Chose this motel because of modest price and proximity to Zanesville (for the tri-bridge festival) and to The Wilds. Indoor swimming pool for the kids and clean, comfortable rooms. Is near a busy intersection, but was safe and couldn't hear the traffic inside the room. It's on historic Route 40. Would definitely stay there again, but go out for breakfast.
“NEVER AGAIN”
I was forced after booking the room to arrive a day early for which I payed upon arrival . Upon departure they clerk ( who spoke very little english) attempted to charge me again. I eventually convinced her that I had payed and left without further incident. Three days later my card was charged anyway. Upon arrival at the room the handicapped door did not work nor did the security swipe card feature on the main door. The room had been serviced but the carpet was very dirty and in need of shampooing or replacement. This was evident by the looks of my white socks when I took them off. The bathroom had hair all over the floor as well as the tub. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone
“Place has a long way to go.”
The hotel appears to be in a re-opening phase. There are many maintenance issues. There was no AC in the common areas and hallways. It has a big pool, ping pong table, and rec area inside. Bathrooms were small. The room was not real clean but not real dirty either. The continental breakfast was a joke. They are not squared away at the desk. The place doesn't appeared to be staffed very well. I had no need to call on them, but if I did, I doubt the response would be very good.
