This hotel was awesome! It is sooooo clean. The staff were super helpful. My Spanish is so so and they were very patient listening to me. They spoke to me slowly so I could understand everything they said. The hotel is located in the Pilar Plaza and within walking distance to everything you could need to see. The tv remote even had a language choice so if an American tv show was on I could choose English and it switched so I could watch it. Zaragoza was such a neat town to visit. The only thing that I didn't like was the Basilica bells rang every 15 minutes. The 15 and 45 were shorter, the half a little longer and the hour longer still and with extra chimes to count each hour. I told my daughter I was happy at least it counted in 12 hour time not 24. Wouldn't want to have to listen to 15 or 20 chimes. lol. I highly recommend this hotel if you go to Zaragoza. It really is central and very clean with wonderful staff.

Great location but room is quite small. Suggest to get parking instruction before arriving at the hotel to avoid the challenges we encountered trying to find the right parking. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location with a great view of the church. Steven and the other staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was fantastic (including the lady who made our coffees every morning). Can’t beat the location and parking safe and easy and accessible. Highly recommend!

Room was very hot even with window open, air-con did not work. Smell from drains. Do not choose a jacuzzi room, as there is smell, which makes them unusable. Cooked breakfast poor, but cold options and pasties ok. Great location though!

This is an excellent hotel. Well situated in the city and with a discount on parking very close to the hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom are exceptional. Stayed here a few years ago and would always stay again.

Great location. Hotel and room not at all as Expedia advertised- extremely small reception area and room. Given different, smaller room with no fridge, no safe box. Receptionist requested additional payment to give us a room we paid via Expedia. Bad experience!

Room with a view
For the view alone you need to stay at this hotel. It is magnificent. Of course together with the view comes the street noise, so be prepared to take some earplugs, but that is certainly worth it. The room is very comfortable and clean!

Disappointing.
The hotel is in a great location and it's clean but sadly those are about the only positive things about it. It is dilapidated. And in urgent need of renovation. On many of the walls the plaster is crumbling. The rooms are clean but the both the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The breakfast was disappointing and of poor quality. Considering we paid just under €100 per night for our stay, it was probably the worst value for money hotel we have ever stayed in. Certainly not the perfect location for our romantic weekend away.

Looking at how much I paid for the room, I think I should have paid more for a better quality room. The location within the plaza del Pilar was second to none, it was across the plaza from the basilica Pilar which would be the reason for visiting Zaragoza. It was at the start of the old quarter which is a warren of old beautiful buildings housing shopping and restaurant options. From the balcony we had an incredible view of the plaza but not the basilica. Now to the room. The bedding and sheets were comfy although the room wasn’t much bigger than a childs room, it even had Buenos Noches (good night) on the wall with some cute little sheep jumping a hedge. The bathroom was also small with a shower that had an adjustable chair (I’m guessing for older travellers or those with disabilities) but the adjustable bit was broken so instead had a permanent chair that I didn’t want to use taking up half of tiny shower space. No fridge or ammenities in the room, but it ranged from 0-7 degrees centigrade during our visit so we were able to leave our drinks/cold meats/yogurt on the balcony to stay cold. Because of the cold of the city and the tinyness of our room, by the end of our stay in Zaragoza we we’re happy to leave, as we were unable to feel at home. As I said, I should have paid for a bigger room, so will keep that in mind for future trips.
