Very old hotel. Very small room as basic as it can get. A bed, a chair and a small deck with a very basic shower. Uneven floor making the bed lean to the side.

Good location to be a tourist.
At less than a 5 minute walk to the city centre and easily accessible by car the hotel is well located to visit, shop, find a restaurant or take trips in the surrounding area. The room had been recently renovated. It was compact but well furnished. The walk-in shower design is poor resulting in the whole bathroom floor becoming wet if you take a shower. It was a spur of the moment decision to take a weekend break, we were not aware it was a busy weekend. The uplift applied by the hotel more than doubled the price per person per night. Quiet location, good breakfast.

Great hotel with a fantastic restaurant
Fantastic little hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, only gripe was the shower didn’t have a means of restraining the water from going all over the bathroom floor. But I can overlook that. The restaurant was superb and the food was of a really high quality. The breakfast had plenty to offer. Would definitely go back again.

Great hotel in great location.
Lovely hotel with great views across Middelburg. Great welcome when arrived as they remembered me from a previous stay. Rooms are clean and fresh with comfortable beds and great rain showers. The rooms can get very warm and there is no air conditioning but they have large opening windows. Highly recommended.

Excellent setting on edge of town centre with parking close by 2 Euro’s per hour from 8.00-20.00 and free overnight. Easy to find.

Nice hotel close to train and city center
Light, bright and nice hotel with pleasant staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds with pillows a bit firm for my taste but fine. Able to get a family room with my 2 teenage daughters. Staircase was steep and possibly treacherous with narrow stair depth especially in center of spiral. Small elevator available if needed. Breakfast was fine. Everyone in the family found something to happily eat. Able to store luggage after checkout and borrow umbrellas.

The room was just a little bit bigger than the bed, no place to put your suit cases, a very small table in it so yoou can't do any work, the room was very cold, no heating turned on even after a complaint at reception, the staff didn't know what to to. For all of this the room was much too expensive.

Een goed bijgehouden hotel, kamers zijn oke, bedden liggen fantastisch. Instap van de douche is iets te klein, vloer van de badkamer was na het douchen nat. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Fahrstuhl für das 2. OG defekt, mit engen/steilen Treppen. Kein Hausservice, der die Koffer in das Zimmer trägt. Gardinen zerrissen. Fenster werden mit Holzstücken offen gehalten. Lichtschalter für Deckenbeleuchtung hat einen Wackelkontakt. Preis/Leistung für dieses Zimmer extrem schlecht. Nicht empfehlenswert.
