It is a nice hotel, staff are friendly and helpfulPosted Dec 7, 2013
Location: Bit far from the shopping malls and the city centre.
My experience with the staff at the hotel is that they are always willing to help, they are friendly and with good customer service. However, if you are that type of person who enjoy shopping this hotel is quite far from those attractions and too far from the main city centre.

reasonable hotel in New Taipei cityPosted Nov 9, 2013
Good place, but the location is not really convenient as there is nothing close by (public transportation). I ended up here because all my regular hotels where fully booked. The breakfast was average, and the room was nice. not a bad place, but the location make it hard to recommend it for Taipei city meetings.

Dear Thibault, Thank you very much for taking time from your busy schedule to provide us your valuable comments. We are glade to know that you liked the room during your stay. Regarding the locatin concern, there is a free shuttle service two times daily at 11:00 and 18:00 to go to the nearest MRT station. We also arrange the taxi service as long as the guests need it. A little further from the city and not a tremendous amount to do within walking distance but very nice hotel. Staff was great and friendly.

Business hotel - comfortable stayPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose the hotel for being an international brand that was within 5 minutes of the vendor I was visiting so location was great for my needs. The surrounding neighborhood is very industrial (e.g. moped shops, etc) - so not the type of hotel for sight seeing or taking a walk. Staff was friendly and English skills sufficient (and my poor mandarin enough to bridge the gap). Taxi fares are very reasonable around town. I did not use the fitness center but restaurant breakfast and dinner was good (but only one in hotel restaurant + lobby level cafe/sandwich shop). Nearby suggestions - take a short cab ride to Global Mall and eat at famous Din Tai Fung restaurant. Or, if you're like me, I enjoyed taking a short taxi ride to Costco to compare it to a US version. Rooms were comfortable and desk had ports to plug in USB and computer (no adapter required for US travelers). TPE airport is about 30 minutes and 1100 TWD cab fare (fixed price from the hotel and they can even bill the room which is nice). They also have a sedan pickup which I used for 1700 TWD from the airport - good to have if you want to just land and get to the hotel. Last tip - always grab their business card when you arrive and it has the hotel's address in Chinese for the cab drivers. Free wifi in lobby and rooms also nice.

While my stay was brief, it was ultimately one of relaxation. Arriving after 10pm and a 24 hour flight, the staff was superb. Able to assist an English only speaking traveler, I was most impressed. The room temperature was perfect, the bed very comfortable. Only downfall, I couldn't get the WIFI to work, but the staff hooked me up in no time to the landline, so that I had no delay in getting my work done and to sleep. I did have time for a quick breakfast in the restaurant where the service was fast and pleasant.

4 Day Business TripPosted Apr 20, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel room was comfortable. A plug-in internet cable was present, so no need for paying for wireless. The breakfast serves both American and Chinese fair with a good variety. Easy access to the highway and a convenience store is adjacent to the property. Not many stores or restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Common areas are warm and tend to be stuffy. Very good hotel staff. Would recommend staying there.

Good place to stayPosted Mar 7, 2011
I stay at this hotel every time I need to visit my customer, whose office is across the road so I purely pick this for location. Staff is friendly and attentive, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast buffet is very nice. The hotel bar is nice and comfortable, plus serves food. The area this hotel is in, is ok - not much to see or do, plus it is quite a walk to the nearest metro station. A taxi ride to and from the airport is roughly $40 each way. Recommended is you need to do business in the area

This is a good hotel. The hotel people are friendly & helpful. They try their best to satisfy guest's need. The most important is the room is very clean & spacious. I travel alot, I found that Four Points by Sheraton hotels over the world have the quality and character.
