Hotel Being Cheap

The thermostat for the AC must be overridden by the hotel. The room was always warm -- certainly not the temperature indicated. Also, better take the shower in the evening because there was little hot water in the morning -- luke warm. That worked well after a workout but not so much on other mornings. I have stayed here many times but was disappointed this time. Food is good. Rooms are nice. There is a new Starbucks in the lobby.

Convenience at it's best

I love the location as it sits beside a mall and the convenience of travelling starting from getting a taxi not to mention the assistance from the reception desk is just excellent.

Clean, Comfortable, Well Maintained

This hotel was very clean, modern, comfortable and the restaurant on the 5th Floor had good food at a really good price. The staff were courteous and most spoke English well. There is a department store right next to the hotel that has everything you would need. Highly recommended if you are going to the area to source for lighting and raw materials. There is however a hotel that is right next to the Times Square Building which might be more convenient.

The place to stay in Xiaolan

This hotel is a clean and functional place to stay if you need to be based in Xiaolan. I have stayed here a total of perhaps 5 nights in the past 6 months, and have been pleased. The restaurant on the second floor has a startling variety of food and does a good job preparing it. The breakfast buffet is Western and is good quality.

Staff needs to be Trained

The Hotel room is outstanding. The Location is not the greatest and it is not in any city center. The staff, although tried very hard to be helpful and was pleasant but they were ill trained to do the job. They barely undrstand English. The Concierge didn't even know the area let alone help with places to go or things to see & do. His english was also lacking. The bell hop should have the Concierge job as he was very knowledgeable. The Resturaunt Manager didn't speak english at all nor Cantonese which is the dialect of the region. The entire staff was very pleasant but they just don't seem to know what is expected of them. A lot of stumbling around.
