Terrible stay

Our room have no air conditioning so we didn't get no sleep coz it's too hot. It was terrible. Staff said they can't find anybody to fix it bec its at night. Room key hard to open door and magnetic key not working so they didn't give one. Staff said that batteries for magnetic key not working. Toilet doesn't flush right, too slow. We need to flush twice. Shower don't have hot water. Staff said sorry but no compensation, no refund.

Roach hotel... at the right location

Cons: Everything.. dirty room, customer service (apathetic attitude), WiFi, cleanliness of rug....
Location: less than 2 miles from Zion National park. Perfect location.
Let's start with good things about this place.. Location. It has a fridge in the room. That's it!!! Don't expect anything but at bed and warm shower. This is one of the worse hotel/motel. They advertise that they have wifi and free breakfast. Wifi may be available at the office, not in your room. Breakfast is just cereal and bagels. Room has a dingy and dirty feel to it where you are afraid to walk on the rug... Overall, spend a few extra bucks and stay at other hotel. Customer service is non-existence.

Close to Zion National Park!

Pros: Close to Zion. Close to Shuttle stop. Spacious room.
Cons: Someone at the desk who likes his job. Immediate improvement of the AC.
Location: Quite close to Zion. Close to the free shuttle to the park. Shops nearby.
The staff takes no trouble to make you feel welcome. No smile. But the location is fine, because it's quite close to the entrance of Zion. You can walk to the busstop of the free shuttle. Great. Shops very close by. Air conditioning was so noisy and icy that you had to sleep with the thing turned off and that made it impossible to sleep. 89 degrees F in the room at night. Horrible. It spoiled our stay. Rooms ok. a lot of space and clean. Breakfast is poor.

Nice location for Zion visitors

Pros: Location is great for Zion visitors.
Cons: The check-in time can be more flexible.
The hotel is located at Springdale the bottom of Zion National Park. Very convenient to take a free local bus to the Zion Visitor center where the Zion bus connects to take you to the various interest points within the park. But the hotel only allows guest to check in after 3pm. Wevhave to wait to get our room ready.

Pros: Location good near shuttle and plenty of restaurants, grocery store gas station etc.
Cons: See above. Attention for detail!
Location: Zions Park Beautiful
Broken tiles , mold and stains . Curtains only partially hung on window. Noisy window AC on high and not able to keep cool. All towels and linens gray, dirty and worn. Bedspreads shabby. Breakfast minimal fare.

Avoid this place

Pros: The town of Springdale is charming, and of course the proximity to Zion NP is good.
Cons: Do some badly needed maintenance to spruce up the place (see above). Either lose the "breakfast" feature or improve it.
Location: Zion National Park - great sights, great hiking, etc.
A pretty depressing experience. This place is kind of like the ruins of a once charming little hotel. Once there was a little "brook" that ran around the grounds, but now it's only dried up mud, the swimming pool is closed (looks permanent?), and it looks like no maintenance has been done for decades. The wooden outdoor stairs need repair & replacement of carpet, the air conditioner for my room (mounted in the bathroom!) looked to be halfway ripped out of the wall, with an inch or two of insulation & caulking hanging out on all sides. To top it off, all the towels were gray, leaving one to wonder how clean they were... The "breakfast" offered was poor, consisting of cheap processed bread & bagels, not even removed from the grocery store packages. Besides cereal, the only other items were ketchup-bottle-style containers of margarine and some sort of jelly - ick!

There was a pool, but there wasn't any water. The bed sagged to one side. The towels were dingy. No black out shades and the curtains there were falling off the rails. The telephone didn't work to call the front desk or anywhere else for that matter. I've stayed in much nicer facilities for much better prices in 3rd world countries.

Great for access to Zion National Park

Pros: The manager was very friendly and helpful. Fridge and microware assist with self-catering.
Cons: Wifi access was limited when we were there, which is always disappointing.
Location: The hotel is only 4 minutes from the Zion NP Visitor Centre, and access to the shuttle buses for everything you wish to do in the Park.
The hotel is pretty basic, but its location makes its attractive, and its charge is reasonable for a high-cost area. There is a supermarket just across the road, and lots of eating places are very handy.
