The Bioxury has several positive aspects going for it: Its location right in the safe touristy Zona Rosa, the modern design and the friendly, helpful staff, most of whom spoke good English. The room had a pleasing, elegant décor with large, flat screen TV and a very comfortable bed. A somewhat controversial, but very progressive focal point in the room was the full height glass cage with large shower and elaborately designed lavatory. The A/C had no heating function and it got quite chilly at night, which, of course, will not matter in the summer time. Wi-Fi was free, but there was no business center. Breakfast was good with an excellent selection of fruits. A very popular night club on the roof affords spectacular views over the city. Not only is there a good steak house downstairs, but there are plenty of good dining venues in a safe neighborhood. For more night live take a leisurely 10 minute walk down the street and turn left. You are lucky if you find a table in the evening. The Colombians seem to like their beer more than the Germans like theirs, which is quite unimaginable.

Close to shopping area and night life within walking distance.
Recomme their taxi service; very accommodating and reasonably priced. Would also recommend it for airport transport to and from.
Rooms are modern and clean.
Breakfast included has nice options including local food.

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely hotel in May. The staff was gracious and very helpful in setting up rides and suggesting places to see. Unfortunately we do not speak Spanish so the fact that they spoke English was most helpful as there is not a great deal of English spoken in Bogota. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the common rooms, including the dining room where we had delicious breakfast each morning, were quite elegant.
We expect to return to this fascinating city and will be happy to stay here again.

The so-called “Pink Zone” in the northern section of Bogotá is the main tourist district of Colombia’s capital city. The pedestrian-only Zona T is the center of the neighborhood and is lined with shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. The peak of Mount Montserrat is just to the east and a ride or hike to its peak is rewarded with spectacular views of the city stretched out below.
