I've been staying at the Geneve on my visits to Mexico for many years. I have always found it to be consistent in its service, staff, cleanliness and quality. The rooms are large, quiet and well appointed and provide every comfort you need for an enjoyable stay.

I arrived at about 9:30pm Thursday night. Restaurant was still open. Good options and good service. Happy it was still open. Internet was perfect. Room was clean. They cleaned my room really well every day. Great location. Very safe neighborhood. Great food nearby and lots of options. Very young neighborhood. Its also quiet, at least it was in my room. Its not the Ritz, but this is a nice hotel option and well worth the money. I speak Spanish and didn't test the staff on their English other than the late night desk person who spoke to me in English only. Most people know some English anyway. I can't speak for the rest of the staff, but all of them were helpful and nice.

The hotel staff was very nice and able to speak fluent English. Upon arrival, my wife was offered a rose. That was a friendly gesture. The hotel was about a 5 minute walking distance from Metro station Insurgente, and the neighborhood was safe and offers many dining options. The room, including the bathroom, was clean and tidy. There were just a couple of minor complaints: 1) The smell of air freshener was a bit strong 2) The bed was a bit too soft 3) The shower head probably needed to be cleaned for hard water residue because the flow was low compared to the faucet. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely consider Hotel Century if we visit Mexico City again.

Good location for restaurants, shopping, close proximity to public transport & tourist sites. One caveat: continental breakfast was not provided even though it clearly stated that it was complimentary when booking the reservation.

Near Centro Historico, Zona Rosa pulsates with business, shopping, and nightlife. Some of the city's best restaurants, jewelers, and antique stores are found here. Its landmarks include the Mexican Stock Exchange and the 35-story Torre Mayor, next to the famous bronze Angel of Independence statue. Bustling 24 hours a day, Zona Rosa is also popular with Mexico City's gay and lesbian communities.
