Zug Ferrari

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: nice size room & bathroom. Walkable to city center.
Cons: A bigger name sign & a place to park car while checking in.
Hot in Suisse, but we had a nice time down by the lake, great sunset.

For Zug, it's ok

Posted Jun 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
As I have learnt from my 6 months of hotel stays in Zug, nothing is going to be 'great', and hotel station doesn't do anything to quash that. It's a VERY basic hotel with rooms that consist of a bed and no extra floor area. Very basic breakfast, but it is clean and does the job at a reasonably affordable (in comparison!) price. I certainly won't rush back (to anywhere in Zug - commute from Lucerne!) but if other options are extortionate, it's one of many cheaper and marginally acceptable places.

Tiny hotel but a deal for Switzerland

Posted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was tiny: single bed, I can touch all 4 walls at once tiny. Decently clean though the shower could have used a better scrub. Other reviewers complained about the bells next door and it's true, they are loud. But the awesome thing about Swiss well insulated windows is all you have to do is shut them. For the price, I would mostly stay there again. The only thing that makes me lean towards not is the basic services missing. I stayed 7 nights. They provided 1 bottle of water, a tiny block of soap and some single serving toilettries. I have no issue with not refilling the toilettries or water once they were gone but they didn't even give me a new block of soap for washing my hands. That is poor service.

Clean and convenient

Posted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good location for me and clean room. Sounds echo around the corridors a bit a night so you can hear people walking past and sitting other doors, but all in all not a problem to me. Staff seemed good on check in.

Tight squeeze with a comfortable bed

Posted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and safe. The single room was tiny with a bed frame built into the closet frame. Internet was free but slow. Shower did not have a place for the soap. Nice rooftop with views of the area. The front desk team were very friendly and helpful.
