“Most impressed..”

We were upgraded to a suite and the service was excellent. We were given wellcome drinks at the bar. Hotel is close to the lake and bus stops. All soft drinks were free in the room where our fruit plate was refilled every day. A design hotel with few rooms and wonderful staff.

I can assure you I will only stay at ALDEN Hotel every time I happen to travel to Zurich.

“Wonderful hotel - great suite.”

The hotel was wonderful and the 2-room junior suite was spacious, clean, and confortable. There was plenty of storage with 2 large armoires. The breakfast buffet and service was quite good. The staff at this hotel is excellent. We stayed for a week and loved having all of this room, instead of your typical tiny European hotel room. It felt like "home". The hotels in Zurich are all very expensive. If you can get a good rate or a "special" for this hotel, Go For It! You will not be disappointed.

“Real Luxury Boutique Hotel”

Very nice and well kept hotel in Zurich. Excellent location near by everything. The hotel is also comfortable for families and long stays. The service is very good, they take a real care of you. Will definitely stay in the same hotel next time.

“Great spot for family or just to get away”

Five stars is a tough rating- really more for the service than the facility, since most facilities should be clean and somewhat elegant with a little effort. The service at the Alden was outstanding. All were very happy to help in any way possible. The location is not right in "old town" Zurich, but it's a quick walk over the bridge to the city. I preferred the location, since there was no chance that any restaurants or clubs could get noisy or out of hand nearby. Quiet spot, yet very accessible to everywhere. Nice job by all. G

“Luxury!”

The hotel was superior. The staff were extremely pleasant, well trained, helpful. The linens were exceptional. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was very large with great fixtures. A small feature, given this was an expensive hotel, but this was the first time i have encountered everything in minibar aside from the liquor was free of charge.

“Not king size”

This is a very nice 4 star hotel, but is NOT a five in anything but price. We stayed is 3 hotels on this trip, a real five star, this one, and a four star. This had the dingiest downstairs, the smallest elevator, the least attractive breakfast of the three. The killer was the too-short "king" sized bed.

“Quaint”

It was a nice stay, friendly staff. Got an upgrade was very nice, almost like an apartment.
