Excellent hotel

Very convenient for transport whether boats, trains or buses. The hotel staff were first class being friendly and always willing to help with any queries.

The experience was good. Airport shuttle stopped running around midnight so had to pay for cab from airport to hotel after enjoying the night life.

Pros: Close to the airport and a good price for the rooms.
Cons: Breakfast should be included since there are no restaurants close to the hotel. Cost of internet and Skype was too high.
Location: Close to the airport where the shopping is great, plus the train station is right there so you can take the train or the tram to downtown Zurich.
Hotel was very nice, liked the fact that the shuttle took you to the airport every 30 minutes. Shopping and food is better priced in the airport. Would have been nice if a free breakfast would have been included.

Close to Zurich Airport

Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Replace dirty and worn out carpets. Free wifi in the rooms
The evening waitress in the resteraunt was extremely rude and brusque, apparently due to overwork, covering the entire place alone, which was far too big for one waitress. But the service was good. The food was second rate. My room faced the freeway and got a lot of traffic and airplane noise. Rooms on the other side, facing the hill, would probably be a lot quieter. The carpet in my room was filthy and should be replaced. The bathroom had no soap or wash cloth. The food was grossly overpriced. The gym was very basic (compared to the rather glowing description) but adequate with well maintained, but quite limited, equipment.

Sticker shock in Zurich

Pros: Proximity to airport and shuttle approx. every 20 minutes.
Cons: When trying to catch shuttle, driver shrugged his shoulders when full. Front desk immediately called for another (ten minutes or less wait).
While shuttle is convenient, unless greater than blue Hilton Honors member, all costs a la carte. Could use internet for six hours in public areas or 25 swiss francs in room. Opt for shuttle to airport food court, price of salads start at 20 swiss francs, burger 32 or 38 in hotel, did not even consider breakfast with early flight. Room was clean but on highway side. Sauna & steam in exercise room with towels, very nice. Booked room well before trip for a really decent price for Switzerland. Because our blue honors status granted us no privileges, the only option for boarding pass printing was to email to the front desk clerk and she would print. This is crazy! Also, there were large tour groups filling the lobby areas watching FIFA so it was overcrowded with overtired children and parents.

Nice hotel close to airport

Pros: close to the airport
Cons: desk staff rude and unhelpful
Location: nothing nearby .. we took a taxi to the city center 110 Swiss francs Enjoyed shopping and dinner .
We arrived at 10:30 am as we were expected to but no room available until 1pm , because we required twin beds . Our reservation through Expedia was always clearly for 2 beds as was the time of arrival . The friends we checked in with got their room immediately . We waited in the lobby then the coffee bar ...at one time we were told that a cleaning staff was preparing our room and should be ready in 20 minutes but was even then still another 50 minutes . We are both seasoned travellers and accustomed to delays but rude desk staff and their total lack of consideration were unacceptable .

Close to airport

Our only reason sor staying there was proximity to the airport, but we realized that the Zurich train is very frequent and quick, so any hotel near the station in Zurich would have been almost as good, and probably much cheaper. We got a bad impression from the fact that WiFi is not free. All other hotels we stayed at in Europe gave free internet access. Also the network cable in the room has a connector that doesn't fit our (very standard) laptop.

Don't wait last minute to book a room...!

Cons: Preferred rates for HH members.
Location: 15 minutes drive to downtown Zurich.
Waiting last minute to reserve your room, the more, much more your wallet will suffer! Not a good idea. However great service, quiet and cozy rooms, fast Internet, great food and very convenient to get to the airport. So don't wait and book your room now!

Good, very close to airport

Pros: It was clean, comfortable and staff was nice.
Cons: Room Service shouldn't be so expensive.
I had about 10 hours between my flights and spent the night here. The hotel is very close to the airport, about 5 minutes and has shuttles. Although it is very close to the airport it is still nice and not just a simple hotel. it has a restaurant (or two?) and the room was more luxurious than i expected. I ordered room service and thought it was quite expensive. The staff was polite and pleasant and spoke english fluently which was convenient. overall, i would stay here again if i find myself in a similar situation flight wise. However, if you are visiting Zurich then i wouldn't recommend this because i feel like it is always better to stay in the city than have to travel to the city everyday.

Cons: get HHonors points
Just found out if you make reservations thru expedia that you can not get HHonors points although I could have got the same room rate if I made them thru Hilton. So no more expedia hilton reservations!
