This hotel is where prostitutes do their business.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Move to another Hotel
Location: Low life environment best describes it.
I thought this was supposed to be a reputable hotel rated as a 4 star by Expedia, however this hotel is situated in a bad area where prostitutes roam a and solicit their business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is worse than bad. My bed was a cot and the room the size of a closet. It was maintained clean. The elevator was big enough for two...the street noise was load and went on all night from the drunks at the bar next door. I was propositioned by a prostitute while in the elevator...I found a better Hotel the next day. Avoid at all cost, unless you are looking for prostitutes. This is the Hotel from Hell.

Scary or Fun

One of the lowest priced hotels I found and directly in the city of Zurich. Despite it having a bit of an older, worn feel, I was unexpectedly surprised by the fact that everything was as clean as it could be. No air-conditioning, though, so the room forces you to open the windows to the outside, which brings the "active city-life right into your bed." Literally, there's music, noise, traffic, people, and night-life directly outside, including some, ehem, so-called "businesses" which earn their profits, um, working the streets. Very convenient if you want to step outside of the hotel and walk right into a dozen caberet clubs, or, be near the train station. Not quite recommended for the very faint-of-heart, but if you're comfortable walking the streets of a big city at night, well, the, um, "sightseeing" might be something interesting and entertaining (I'm not talking about seeing churches and museums). The breakfast included with my room rate was surprisingly good (the lobby is small and not necessarily inviting, so you don't have a tendency to sit there for a long time, but the bread, the croissants, the meats, the cheeses, the coffee, the juice, the jellies, etc. were all there, and despite the simplicity, everything tasted great. I would have no problems going back to this place because I thought it offered a great value at half the price of other budget hotels (even though nothing in Zurich seemed to be priced for one's normal budget). Note: scaredy-cats should stay away!
