“Great place to stay in Zurich”

I was in Switzerland for work and decided to take a few days vacation in Zurich beforehand and this hotel was great. Very good location, only a few minute walk to the famous Bahnhofstrasse, right next to the lake and only a few minutes walking to lots of restarants across the bridge. We got a corner room (ask for that if you can!) which was much bigger than most european hotel rooms, and we had our own balcony with a table and chairs. Rooms were very nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful at recommending restaurants and activities and always friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great hotel”

We spent 3 nights in Arabellasheraton Neues Schloss and had a very nice time, its a block away from the lake and few mins walk to main shopping center, so you cant go wrong on location. The hotel staff was also very nice, polite and english speaking. Gave good advice on restaurants and bars. Rooms were very good too (mind you they were european size) but had all the amenities a 4 star room should have. Would definitely go back

If you are getting a good rate (below 300US) it is a good choice. Nice located close to the lake and close to the city.

“Arabella Sheraton Zurich”

I stayed at the Arabella Sheraton for 6 nights recently while attending the CFA Conference in Zurich. I stayed on the 3rd floor which is the Starwood Prefered Guest Floor (I booked through Expedia though not Starwood Hotels). The hotel is quite small but is nicely finished off and the quality of finishes is high. The rooms are a little small (such is life in Europe I guess) and large people could find the bathroom hard to navigate, I'm 5'9" and it was a tight squeeze. Little extras like a robe, slippers and a courtesy umbrella were provided. The room has all the required power points, phone lines and wireless access. The location is perfect if you are going to the convention centre, plus the lake is literally 100 m away and the main shopping street an easy 500 m stroll away. All in all the hotel provided a good experience and is recommended for travel to Zurich. To get to the hotel use the hotel shuttle from the airport, Sfr 30 for two versus Sfr 65 by taxi. Zurich is a lovely, clean and organised city, you always feel safe and relaxed, coupled to this is that most people speak English and are actually quite friendly. Enjoy your trip.

“Marie is a star”

Need help, advice ... then see Marie. We needed a restaurant reservation for a large group and Marie was an absolute star, extremely helpful and absolutely nothing too much trouble.

Don#t expect something fancy, but if you are getting a reasonable rate you could still stay there.

Not impressed, if you get a good rate, go ahead, otherwise get a better hotel, It is more a good three star hotel than a four star.
