Very good hotel, spacious with a simply kitchen. Overall is awesome, except for my room at L1 where people smoking downstairs right below the window. That’s the problem being at low floor. Other than this, nothing else negative.

The property have few amenities, and expedia VIP customers didnt even have the proper perks as promised. One male front desk agent even approached us that we are not entitled for breakfast. I clearly told the agent/receptionist that we booked for 2 breakfast, however he insisted that I only entitled for one. The perks for room upgrade and other amenities were not given. I called expedia customer service and they called the front desk to clarify things. End of the story, the guy completely didnt understand my booking. Expedia did a good job for clearing up the fuss. It was early in the morning and I was treated like this. The facility has not enough amenities, it doesnt even offer continental breakfast. I only rated this as three stars because of Natalie/Natalia of the service desk in the reception. She is very friendly, helped us throughout our stay and accommodate our needs during our stay. Without her, I didnt even feel as VIP guest.

The room was clean. Spacious for a European hotel. Terrible pillows. No a/c in the hotel so the room was very hot, even with the window open. It made it hard to sleep at night. 10 min walk to main train station or 5 min walk to bus stop. Grocery stores near by. Really good breakfast and coffee. Nice hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again in the summer. I’d find a hotel with som air condition.

No frills great hotel in Zurich
This hotel was great. It was quite basic and no-frills but we really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great and it was located really conveniently for multiple types of transport.

I must say although not what I initially expected the hotel was cute and convenient as well as staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint was no air conditioning! But, since the weather was not the best most of our trip I suppose it was ok with no AC. Definitely a quiet more peaceful place which I love so if you’re into the loud or social scene then this might not work out for you.

hotel is rated 2 star but it’s more like 3 star. Breakfast is great, cleanliness is ok. One major drawback is that it gets extremely hot. the windows don’t have any screen on them so when you open them you get all the insects in the room. The fan they provided is not able to keep up with the heat sadly.

Pleasant stay with clean and large rooms
As I was in quarantine although having both my shots and negative I did not get to use much of the hotel facilities. But what ever I requested was left at my door. The rooms are clean and a very good size compared to other zurich hotels. So if I had guests or needed a hotel again I would stay her.

Nice hotel
Great hotel but COVID-19 affecting things as breakfast was non existent and I missed the fact the hotel has no bar.

Usually, we offer our guests a sumptuous breakfast buffet that is available at a very reasonable price (CHF 15). Unfortunately, our offering had to be adapted due to the current situation. Flag is a lovely and modern hotel, not too far from public transportation and supermarkets. The room was specious and clean and reasonably priced. My only complain would be lack of staff and unwelcoming check-in. We had to call them a few times (with our own phone) to get checked in and make other arrangements since there was nobody at the reception after 5.

Extremely disappointed
I stayed there before but this time I was very disappointed. First when I arrived nobody was there and they did not think to send the door pin code as other hotels are doing in Switzerland. I had to wait 20 minutes before understanding that nobody worked at the reception after 5 pm. Then I called the customer service department and I was asked to provide my bank card number (never charged) while the booking was already paid. The worse happened few days later when while at the small fitness room within the hotel, I was surprised to see an external security guard who asked me not only to leave the room but also the hotel and to use my PIN code with him looking at me to check if I was really a guest. The last night, we had to support for few hours a strange situation with a young girl undressing herself in the street (She was staying at the hotel) front of the hotel and shouting. Nobody called the police or any security service. You never experience such situations in Switzerland and I was very disappointed. It would be my last stay there.
