“Cannot beat 5-10 mins walk to almost any place of interest”

Pluses: 1) Good size room 2) good size bathroom 3) good size wardrobe (not a tiny closet as some places offer) 4) mini bar in the room (we did not use it though) 5) nicely decorated 6) windows that you can open! 7) we just loved the matrass. 8) included outstanding breakfast Minuses 1) Cable TV had only 1 (CNN news) English channel (but we did not come to Zurich to watch TV anyway) 2) ?

This hotel more than met our expectations. The room although not large was immaculately clean. We only had a shower in the bathroom but was more than sufficient. A nice touch was the complimentary slippers plus tea making facilities in the room The breakfast was good and lovely to have it in the courtyard on a warm sunny morning.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I could open the window in my room and enjoy the fresh air and sounds of the area, but when closed, it was very quiet. The location is excellent -- everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. Very clean and the breakfast buffet was great.

“Great Place”

We were very impressed with this hotel. It is centrally located in the old part of Zurich and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Zurich.

“Loved it!”

We arrived early so had to wait about one hour for our room to be ready...but this was fine because the hotel offered us to go to the free breakfast buffet to wait. We enjoyed a relaxing breakfast and when we were done, our bags had been taken to our room which was ready. The room was much larger than we had anticipated with a beautiful, up-to-date bathroom. The hotel was well located - in the middle of the old town, walking distance from the train station. The room faced the main pedestrian street and there was some degree of noisy folks out in the evening but this was not so bad as to keep us from sleeping. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Charming place - modern facility in the middle of historic area. The hotel rate was fair - good value for the money. Perfect!

“Great Location and Service”

It is located in the heart of the Old Town and close to shopping, restaurants, churches, train station, bus and trolley stop and tourist stuff. Reasonable price and great buffet breakfast included. No need to rent a car. The room decorating is modern European and a little different, but clean and nice.

“Loved It!!”

This hotel is a small "boutique" hotel in a great location in the heart of Zurich. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was spotless and everything worked. We happened to get a room overlooking the cobblestone, pedestrian-only street, which was a little noisy at night because there are a lot of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. But that's a good thing if you don't want to have to go far to find a great place to eat. Breakfast was included with our room, and the buffet had absolutely everything you could possibly want, and very good, too! The location was fabulous, too, and very close to the river, the Trams and the train station. I would definitely recommend it to anyone spending time in Zurich!!
