Crystal Cruises: The world at your fingertips
On a Crystal Cruises ship, the world is truly yours, with several world cruises (pack well because they are long!) The fleet of three crosses the waters with unique sailings almost every time. Mainstays of the line are the Mediterranean and European cruises in the summer, with two ships sailing there from spring through autumn. Seeing Alaska on a Crystal ship is to see it from a truly luxurious seat. Crystal Cruises’ ships also head to the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Panama Canal, but not as regularly as some of the larger cruise lines, as these ships move around more than others.

Crystal Cruises: Ships and reviews
With only three ships, it is amazing where Crystal Cruises can take you. On the Crystal Harmony you can sail the Caribbean, Mexico, the South Pacific, and Alaska, all in one year! The newest ship, the Crystal Serenity, spends most of her time on world voyages, or in Europe and the Mediterranean. The Crystal Symphony spends much of the year touring South America and then heads to Europe and the Mediterranean for the spring and summer. Crystal Cruises is one of the few lines to sail in Asia, which you can do on the Crystal Harmony in the spring of 2005.

Crystal cruises: Luxury and elegance
Crystal Cruises offers an intriguing hybrid style of cruise experience. The line is decidedly upscale, but its ships, unlike its luxury niche competitors, are big ones, each carrying 940 or more passengers. Crystal Cruises was the first cruise line to embrace the concept of boutique restaurants and it enthusiastically incorporated cyber cafés on its ships well before other lines (and offered how-to computer classes to encourage passenger skills). Clothing onboard is dressy, particularly on formal night, a good time to break out those sequins. Even on other nights, women tend to wear cocktail attire and men tend to wear suits. During the day, elegant casual is de rigeur.
