enrollment fees.

The quickest way to join ThankYou Network is to click the "Join now" button on any page and follow the subsequent directions. If you don’t have one already, you’ll be asked to create an Expedia account.

If you have a pre-existing ThankYou Member Account number, you can easily enter your ThankYou Member Account number onto the Expedia “Billing and Delivery” page during the checkout process to earn ThankYou Points.

No, you only have to have a U.S. address to join ThankYou Network through Expedia. (Unfortunately, post office boxes don’t qualify.) ThankYou Network is unable to deliver rewards outside the continental United States and Puerto Rico. Delivery of gift card/certificate rewards can be made to Hawaii and
Alaska addresses.

Yes. ThankYou Network members enrolling via Expedia must be 18 or older.

You’ll earn one point per dollar spent for hotels, vacation packages, activities totaling $50+, and cruises. To earn points on flights, you need to add a hotel or an activity of $50+ to your itinerary.

Standalone flight and car itineraries don’t qualify for ThankYou Points
from Expedia.

You’ll accrue points for the travel items where Expedia provides the most value to travelers—hotels, vacation packages, activities totally $50 or more, and cruises.

You can earn points for your flight by adding a hotel or an activity of $50+ to your itinerary. That’s all it takes to earn points on both of your bookings!

If your ThankYou Member Account number was in your Expedia itinerary when you made a qualifying booking—hotels, vacation packages, cruises, activities totaling $50+—you earned ThankYou Points for your travel. Or, if you added your number any time before your travel was completed, you would have
earned points.

Please keep in mind that it takes four to twelve weeks after the completion of travel for the points to appear in your ThankYou Member Account.

If you have a ThankYou Member Account number stored in your Expedia account, the number of ThankYou Points a trip can earn is displayed on the “Billing and Delivery” page prior to booking, as well as on the confirmation page and
your itinerary.

If you don't have a ThankYou Member Account number stored in your Expedia account, you won't see the number of ThankYou Points you can earn until the booking has been completed. At that point, in order to receive the points, you'll have to manually add a ThankYou Member Account number to your itinerary before the trip begins. You can do this via the “My Itineraries” page.

You can earn extra points by booking two or more different types of qualified travel items on the same itinerary. Here are the bookings that qualify: hotels, vacation packages, activities totaling $50+, and cruises.

Yes. Earning is associated with an Expedia account, rather than a person. So, you can earn points for booking travel for other people, even when you don’t travel with them.

There are several ways to earn ThankYou Points beyond booking travel
on Expedia:

• Watch your ThankYou Points multiply with a Citi PremierPass® / Expedia® World MasterCard® card. With this card, each purchase you make is eligible for ThankYou Points—and qualified bookings on Expedia can earn you up to 3 points per $1 spent.
• Earn points for purchases made through the ThankYou Bonus Center, which includes hundreds of retailers including Target and drugstore.com.
• Earn points via a sponsor account, such as a participating Citi® credit card, an enrolled Smith Barney financial management account (FMA) with an activated FMA card, or an eligible Citibank® checking account with a linked debit card.
• Get bonus points through special promotions on both Expedia and ThankYou.com.
• Purchase ThankYou Points in increments of 1,000 points for $25—up to a maximum of the total points available to you for redemption. You may purchase a maximum of 100,000 points per calendar year.

Although there is no limit to the number of points you can earn on Expedia, this may not be the case with other ThankYou Network sponsors. We recommend carefully reviewing the specific terms and conditions that you receive in your other sponsor account materials.

You’ll continue to accrue miles in any airline loyalty program that you’re enrolled in, in addition to earning ThankYou Points when you book qualifying travel. Your frequent flier program enrollment is unaffected by participation in
ThankYou Network.

ThankYou Points earned through Expedia will not expire as long as you have qualifying purchase or redemption activity through either Expedia or ThankYou Network at least once every three calendar years.

As long as you have your ThankYou Member Account number already stored in your Expedia account profile, it's added automatically. You'll also have an opportunity to enter your 16-digit ThankYou Member Account number prior to completing the booking.

No. But you can add a ThankYou Member Account number manually to any itinerary that has not yet been completed by accessing it from your “My Itineraries” page. Remember, the ThankYou Member Account added must belong to one of the following: the traveler(s) listed on the itinerary, the primary credit-card holder, or the Expedia account holder.

No. Only one ThankYou Member Account may earn points for a single itinerary, regardless of the number of travelers.

You must manually link it to any of your active itineraries—in other words, itineraries involving travel you haven't yet taken but which you booked before adding your ThankYou Member Account number. You can link the number via the "My Itineraries" page.

Travel offerings from Expedia are converted into a corresponding point value—typically at 100 points per dollar—and are available from ThankYou Network either online at thankyou.com or through the ThankYou Service Center.
