Please follow these guidelines:
  • Please do not write any words in all caps.
  • Please do not include hotel rates, rate ranges, or other pricing/promotional information.
  • Please do not recommend or reference a hotel other than the one booked on this particular trip.
  • Please write in English only.
  • Please be as specific as possible. Your fellow travelers want to know exactly what you liked or disliked about your hotel.
  • Please do not comment on or question other reviews or the content of this website, all of which is subject to change without notice.
  • Please do not direct comments/questions to hotel staff.
  • Please refer only to businesses you frequented during your stay at the hotel (for example, restaurants, bars, theaters, and shops).
  • Please refrain from making false statements or unlawful remarks (as determined by Expedia in its sole discretion).
  • Please refrain from profanity and other objectionable content (as determined by Expedia in its sole discretion).
  • Please do not include telephone numbers, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, or any other information that can be linked to a specific individual.

Our suppliers may read reviews published on our website. In our continuing efforts to improve customer service and your hotel stays booked through Expedia, we may share your review with a supplier and in some cases provide your full name and booking ID in order to fully understand each guest’s situation and to resolve specific incidents that occurred during the trip.

No. We will not edit reviews or otherwise modify data entered by our customers. Therefore, reviews must meet all guidelines before they can be published. We encourage you to read submission guidelines before writing the review.

After you submit your review, a confirmation screen verifies that your review has been received by our system. Approximately 5–10 business days later, you will receive an e-mail that lets you know whether or not your review will be published on the website.

Expedia Star Ratings are indicators of the general quality and amenities of a particular hotel. Traveler Opinions reflect the specific experiences of travelers who have recently stayed at the hotel.

Expedia displays the 25 most current reviews for the hotel. If you visit the informational pages for the hotel you reviewed, you may see it displayed under “Traveler Opinions.”

You're required to log in to your Expedia.com account before you can write a review. If you have multiple accounts, please log in with the same account you used to book the hotel when attempting to write a review of it.

Generally, we only display the 25 most current reviews for a hotel. Additionally, Expedia reserves the right to determine which reviews are displayed at any time.

20. Traveler Opinion box explained.
When you search for hotels in a particular destination, the search results page will display a list of hotels for that destination. If you see this box alongside hotel information, it means that the hotel has Traveler Opinions that were written by other customers. To view these reviews, simply click anywhere in the box.
