Your package includes access to special singles-only events, including speed-dating, singles-only receptions, and other activities. Is there a single supplement? When and how can I sign up for The Apprentice special programs? The Apprentice Legend Cruise programming includes many activities that either require a nominal fee or advance entry. Please advise your Expedia Cruise Specialist if you would like to receive e-mail announcements from Expedia with instructions and rules of play once they are available. What kind of clothes should I bring? The first thing to remember is that you're going to have fun on this cruise and you want to be comfortable. The second thing to remember is to travel light. If you keep those two things in mind, you should do just fine. Casual attire and resort wear is the order of the day both onboard and ashore. Shorts, slacks, sundresses, and blouses are fine for women. Clothing for men is just as casual. You should bring a pair of rubber-soled sandals or sneakers to wear on deck, and a pair of good walking shoes. You might also want to consider bringing along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and inexpensive rain gear in case of sudden showers. Women may want to bring along a hat or scarf. What do I wear for formal nights? You'll have a chance to dress up for The Apprentice Tribute Gala Evening, as well as the Grand Finale Event: Trump World's Fan Appreciation Masquerade Ball. Formal attire is suggested for the Gala Evening: a cocktail dress for women; a dark suit or tuxedo for men. For the Masquerade Ball, it is suggested you don your finest attire—the more elaborate the better. Bring your fanciest evening wear/ball gowns and masks. For those who choose not to dress up, the ship's casual restaurants will be open nightly, with the exception of the last evening, and have a casual dress code. On other evenings, you can dress casually for dinner; that includes sport shirts for men and slacks for women. Note: Shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, and bathing attire are not permitted in the dining room during dinner. What about money? U.S. currency and traveler’s checks are accepted at most ports of call. While you will find traveler’s checks to be safe and convenient, it’s also advisable to bring a reasonable amount of U.S. currency for limited use on board and in port. For your convenience, there is an ATM aboard the ship. However, please note that the supply of money may be depleted prior to the end of your cruise. One personal check up to $250 can be cashed on board when accompanied by your American Express card. (Please note that the name on the check and the card must be the same.) Visa, MasterCard, and the American Express charge cards are accepted at the larger shops in port. For your convenience, charges for most of your onboard purchases can be made to your Sign & Sail account. A required application form has been included with your documents. Carnival accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and cash for deposit on your account. A deposit will be required for cash accounts and the amount will range from $100 to $350 depending on cruise duration. Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted for payment for wire transfer funds. What about electronic appliances? Electrical current in the staterooms is 110 volts AC and is capable of handling all normal appliances such as electric razors, hair dryers, and hot curlers. However, some appliances may require use of an adapter. Will Internet access be available? The Holmes Library and Internet Café offers a quiet nook for reading relaxation or connecting with folks back home. Can I check my e-mail? The ship also includes a wireless "hot zone." Feel free to bring your laptop or use the computers in the Internet café. (Internet charges will apply.) Do I need a vaccine? No Will there be medical services? The ship has an infirmary staffed by one or more doctors and two to four nurses who are on call around the clock. The infirmary staff will assist you and provide medical attention during your cruise, including dispensing prescriptions, should the need arise. There is a fee for the doctor's visit, as well as for any prescription drugs. If you should contract a contagious disease, or even suspect a contagious disease, it's compulsory that you report it to the ship's doctor for the safety of everyone onboard. Will I get seasick? Seasickness is very rare on ships as large as Carnival's. The ship is equipped with stabilizers, which are designed to keep them smooth and steady in the water. If you should feel queasy, medicine is available from your cabin steward, the Information Desk, or the infirmary. Medications Please carry your required medication in your pocket or purse so that it will be available when needed. Checked luggage may not be accessible at all times. Guests with special needs Carnival seeks, to the extent feasible, to accommodate guests with special needs, so they are able to enjoy our ships and other facilities. For example, service animals are permitted onboard ships if prior arrangements are made at time of booking. In situations where a guest with special needs, such as a guest in a wheelchair, would be unable to be comfortably accommodated due to vessel safety barriers and other criteria, it may be necessary to ask the guest to bring along a companion to assist, or make alternative arrangements. Please be advised that guests who will enter their third trimester of pregnancy by the time of the voyage will not be permitted to sail. Guests who have any type of medical, physical, or other special needs are required to contact an Expedia Cruise Specialist to discuss the details of their specific special needs. Guest with special diets Advise your Expedia Cruise Specialist of any special diet requirement at the time of booking (at least two weeks prior to sailing). We will do our best to meet your requirements. However, there may be limitations in our ability to do so. Please reconfirm this request with your waiter at your first meal. What travel documentation is required? Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise and is the responsibility of the guest. Any guest traveling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. This information may also be reviewed on The Fine Print page. U.S. citizens United States citizens must present proof of citizenship in the form of a passport (valid or expired for less than 10 years), original birth certificate, state-issued certified copy of a birth certificate from the Department of Health and Vital Statistics, U.S. Military ID (no dependent IDs), or original Naturalization papers. In addition to the above requirements, all guests 16 years of age or older must provide an official photo ID. It is important that guest names on travel documents (passport, Alien Resident Card, birth certificates, etc.) be identical to those on the cruise and airlines tickets. Otherwise, proof of name change (i.e., a marriage license) OR a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID (i.e., U.S. Military ID) must be presented. Non-U.S. citizens U.S. Resident Aliens need a valid Alien Resident Card. Canadian citizens must present a valid passport, original birth certificate, or certified copy of a birth certificate. Non-U.S. citizens need a valid passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa, if applicable. Non-U.S. citizens eligible to apply for admission under the Visa Waiver Pilot Program must still have a valid, unexpired passport. What else do I need to know about baggage? Please complete the information on your Carnival Cruise Lines baggage tags and attach them to your luggage prior to leaving home. Also, make sure to bring along a smaller carry-on type bag because the night before you return, you will be asked to put your luggage outside by midnight the last night of the cruise. Carnival staff will gather all luggage and bring it to the gangway, so it's ready for you once you disembark. When will I receive my travel documents from Expedia?
