Prices are for a standard double room.

Most people stay on either the fashionable west coast, north of Bridgetown, or the action-packed south coast. The west coast beachfront resorts in the parishes of St. Peter, St. James, and St. Michael are mostly self-contained enclaves. Highway 1, a two-lane road with considerable traffic, runs past these resorts, which makes casual strolling to a nearby bar or restaurant difficult. Along the south coast, in Christ Church Parish, many hotels are clustered near the busy strip known as the St. Lawrence Gap, with its dozens of small restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

On the much more remote east coast, a few small inns offer oceanfront views, cool breezes, and get-away-from-it-all tranquillity. Accommodations range from elegant resorts and private villas to modest but comfortable small hotels and inns. Another popular option is renting a time-share condominium, apartment, or private home.
