The premier site of the 1988 Winter Olympics is a year-round attraction. A one-hour bus tour goes over, under, around, and through the 70- and 90-meter ski jumps and the bobsled and luge tracks. In summer you have the option of walking down the slopes, in winter the slopes are open to the public (ski lessons available). You can try Olympic-size thrills on the one-minute bobsled simulator -- the Bobsleigh Bullet -- and the more abbreviated Tourist Luge Ride; safety equipment is provided. On the premises are a day lodge with a cafeteria and the Olympic Hall of Fame, which houses Olympic memorabilia and video displays. COST: Free, excluding activities; bus and guided tours $10; self-guided tour $7. Apr.-mid-May, daily 10-6; mid-May-Sept., daily 8 AM-9 PM; call for Oct.-Mar. hrs.
