Best time to visit Spain & Portugal
May and October are great times to explore Spain; the days are longer and cooler than in the hot summer months. April is an exciting time to visit, with the entire country celebrating the fiesta of Semana Santa (Holy Week).
Peak Season: June through August bring many tourists, especially Europeans, as well as very warm weather. Rates will tend to be higher during these months.
Value Season: Early spring and fall are ideal for warm weather, fewer crowds, and natural beauty—flowers in the spring and fall color in the countryside.
