Best time to visit Florida beaches
Florida enjoys year-round sunshine, so it’s a popular refuge from the chilly northern weather during the winter months (January–April). However, winter temperatures can be a bit cooler in the northern portions of Florida. For warmer, but not hot, weather, visit in the spring or fall. Temperatures are moderate, but evenings can be a bit cooler. The summer months (June–September) bring hotter, humid weather, but also fewer crowds and lower hotel rates. In addition to high temperatures during the summer, you should also expect daily rain (though often just a quick shower).
Peak season: Winter and early spring (January–April) are the busiest times, as northerners flee chilly weather for sunny skies. March can be the busiest month, as Florida beaches are very popular with college students on spring break.

Value season: The late spring and summer months (June–September) bring hotter, humid weather, but also fewer crowds and lower hotel rates. In addition to high temperatures during the summer, you should also expect daily rain (though often just a quick shower).
