Just past Downtown Honolulu, tucked away in the industrial area of Sand Island, is this friendly South Seas-style restaurant. La Mariana has been around for nearly five decades, and the decor is a hodgepodge of everything from glass floats in fish nets to koa-wood tables. The food here is very surf and turf, but the weekend sing-alongs at the piano bar give the place a nostalgic island charm.
