Keo's in Waikiki
2028 Kuhio Ave., Waikiki, Honolulu, HI, USA

Phone 808/951-9355

This twinkling little nook, with tables set amid lighted trees, big paper umbrellas, and sprays of orchids, is a favorite of visiting Hollywood celebrities. Most of the herbs, vegetables, fruits, and flowers found here are grown on owner Keo Sananikone's North Shore farm. Favorites include the Evil Jungle Prince (shrimp, vegetables, or chicken in a sauce flavored with Thai basil, coconut milk, and red chili) and the crispy Thai shrimp. For dessert, the apple bananas in coconut milk are wonderful. Reservations essential.
